  • Middle Name ideas for a girl Logan?

I've decided on the name Logan for my daughter, but I can't seem to come up with a middle name that I really love yet. I am considering Logan Rose and Logan Claire but I'm just not sure. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Also I know that many people don't like the idea of using traditionally boys names for girls, but it is to honor a very close friend who died last year and I was going to name my baby Logan regardless of gender. So please if you don't like the name just don't comment.

  • Boys names that mean sun or daylight?

I'm writing a story about twins a boy and a girl I have already decided that the girls name will be Aurora, but I can't decide what to name the boy. I was thinking since Aurora means dawn, his name could mean something similar, such as sunlight, sun or day. I'll also take suggestions on the opposite name meanings such as night, sunset, or Moon. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

  • Any Ideas Names for a story?

I'm writing a story about a set of siblings and I'm just having trouble coming up with names for them. The only one I've named so far is the oldest who is a 15 year old girl named Julietta Brielle Sinclair who is called Julie. Julie is the oldest of 4 and I need ideas for her 12 year old brother, 9 year old sister and newborn baby brother. I want them to go well with Julie's name without them being too matching, I don't want all the same first letter or names that sound too similar. Any ideas would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

  • Advice from Moms with large families?

I'm 24 years old and I fairly quickly had 4 children, I had them in just under 4 years. I'm currently a stay at home Mom and I have been noticing that if I bring my children anywhere such as the Grocery store, a restaurant, or even the park, I get a lot of looks. I know that seeing 4 children so close in age is something that you don't necessarily see everyday but I was not prepared for the comments that I sometimes overhear people saying. I have heard people say things like I bet those kids have more then one father, or how does she (me) get anything done, and my absolute "favorite" who would take that many kids to a place like this. I would like to say that though my children are young at 4, 3 and 14 month old twins they are very well behaved especially when they are out and that they all have the same father who I've been married to for 5 years now. I just don't know what to do, the comments are starting to effect my 4 year old son who at times gets very upset when he hears some of these comments. Has anyone else had this happen to them and what would you do.

  • Advice on Character names for story?

I'm working on idea's for a story about a young Mom and her 4 young children. It will be written from the Mom's point of view, possibly in diary form but I'm still undecided on that. I have already decided on the children's names but I can't seem to decide on what the parents names should be. The Children's names are going to be Theodore Scott Harper called Theo, Andrew Lee Harper called Drew, Sofia Elizabeth Harper called Sofi, and Elijah James Harper called Eli. Any Ideas on what either parents name should be would be really helpful the more ideas the better. I will also gladly take any ideas you have about the kids names as well.

  • Average height and weight for a 19 month old?

I recently took my son to the pediatrician for a check up and the nurse mentioned that his height and weight are below average for his age. I was a little surprised because his pediatrician had never mentioned that before. My son is about 26 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds, should I be concerned or is this okay.

  • toddler sucking his thumb?

my son is 19 months old and my parents have been pushing me to get him to stop sucking his thumb, he only sucks his thumb when he's tired or really upset (it's a comfort thing) and I don't really see anything wrong with it. I'm just looking for advice on what to tell my parents and if I should be worried about the way he sucks his thumb. My parents keep saying it will keep him from learning to comfort himself without sucking his thumb but I've never heard that before and I think they're wrong but I'm not sure.

  • Sibling Rivalry advice?

recently I've noticed that my 19 month old son has become jealous of his younger brother who's 9 months old. I think it has to do with the fact that my 9 month old is more mobile now, ever since he has started standing, cruising and actually has taken a few steps his older brother gets very jealous and has even pushed him down a few times. When this happens he is immediately put in time out and he knows that it's wrong. Is there anyway I can help my 19 month old understand that sometimes I have to watch out for my 9 month old who is more likely to fall and get hurt at this stage, and ways I can make my 19 month old feel special so he doesn't think I'm paying more attention to my younger son.

  • Question's about my boys Daycare?

My two boys are 19 months old and 9 months old and they go to Daycare two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays while I'm taking classes to get my teaching degree. They have been going there all semester and recently I've notice that ever since a new teacher has been added to my older son's toddler classroom the amount of incident reports I get for him has nearly doubled, you get an incident report if he falls and hurts himself or if say he is bit by another child, anything that results in a mark on their skin. I know kids fall, but I'm wondering if maybe this new teacher is not as attentive as the old teacher who I love and has moved up to the older toddler room to get a better shift when another teacher retired. I've also realized that I'm not the only parent who've started to get more reports of accidents and falls which is why I'm really concerned. What can I do to see if their really is a problem and what do I do if there is. I've never had a problem with this daycare before and I really have no idea what I should do.
