Guitar Player Dude

Back in the late 70s and early 80s Nickelodeon was in its infancy. They used to show animated shorts from all over the world. There was one in particular that I loved but I can't remember the name. It was basically a history of flight from the mythical Icarus to da Vinci to the Wright Brothers to the moon landings. The music was Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik". This little dude was trying to figure out different ways to fly and was constantly failing. All the while another guy is just mocking him.

Guitarists like Brian May from Queen or Tom Scholz from Boston who have a distinctive sound.

Tube/valve or solid-state amps. Why?

Is this a decent gun for what I'm wanting it for? Any other recommendations?

For me it would be Johnny Ramone. His heavily-distorted, buzz-saw sound got my attention. The fact that it's easy as hell to play kept my attention and as I started playing more and more, I kept trying to get better and better.

It isn't free! If you pay taxes, expect to pay substantially more. I just can't understand why anyone wants the government to run this. Have any of you ever been to a place where there is "free" and unlimited health care? It's a nightmare.
