I was using my computer and the screen went blue and told me there was a fatal error and to restart my computer. I did and now after starting it up, it comes up saying "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.

Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."

I've tried the Windows start-up disk. Should I try something else? Or am I going to have to take it in for repair?

I've gone to Tools and Internet Options and deactivated script bugging, but it's still coming up. When the message comes up, I've tried clicked "Yes" to continue running scripts and "No" to stop running scripts, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. What could be causing this and how do I get it to stop?

I need some songs that are good for when you've been cheated on and been done wrong, like Sara Evans "when you were cheatin'." I just found out some bad news and need some classic country therapy.

My parents called and told me that they've made me the executor of their will when both of them pass away. I know naming an executor makes it easier to deal with their property after they've died, but I'm not sure I understand, what exactly does an executor do?

My mother tried a cornbread salad that she swears didn't use ranch dressing as a base. She thinks it was salsa. Does anyone have a recipe for cornbread salad that DOESN'T use a ranch-type dressing (no mayo)?

I have quite a bit of information on conducting reading and writing workshops, but it's all how individual teachers experiences conducting workshops. With NCLB and corrective action, our district is pushing research-based strategies. Does anyone know if there is any researched evidence that proves the effectiveness of using workshops?

I still plan on using them as part of an action-research project next year, and would like some evidence more than personal experiences.

I have leftover pork roast, and I want to make something different with the leftovers. We aleady had it with vegetables and gravy. What else can we make? I've made stir fry before, so I'm looking for a different recipe.

I'm trying to remember the name of a Ben & Jerry's flavor. I think they stopped making it because I can't find it anymore. It came out with Karamel Sutra (with the caramel core). It had a peanut butter core surrounded by ice cream. I don't rember all of the ingredients, but I think it had chocolate and vanilla or peanut butter ice cream.

We were watching Alan Jackson's top 10 videos special on CMT, and my husband's favorite wasn't on there. We both remember the video, but not which song it's for. At the beginning of the video, Alan tells the "director" to shoot the video without him. So the rest of the video is this director trying to find an Alan Jackson "stand-in" and running around trying to shoot secret footage of Alan for the video and combining it with pieces of earlier videos. It shows all kinds of crazy Alan Jackson impersonators, including a woman. At the end, it shows an awards show and the video has just won some big innovative award.

Does anyone know which song it's for and where we could actually see the video?

Does anyone know when Lean Mean Thirteen is coming out in paperback? I know Plum Lucky just came out, so I was hoping 13 would be going to paperback soon. I LOVE the books! I never would've thought one person's bad day could make me laugh as hard as I do when I read about Stephanie's life!

My dog is an Austrailian shepherd mixed breed, about 8 months old and weighing 23 pounds. Since he's still a puppy, he loves to chew on things. We have rawhide bones and some rubber toys, but he also LOVES stuffed animals. The problem is that his teeth are so sharp, that it doesn't take long for him to chew a hole in the animals. The seams hold up great, but after he's been chewing on them for a while, he puts holes in the sides.

Does anyone know of any tough stuffed animal toys that will be harder for him to chew through?
