I am looking into buying a keyboard for my 8 year old grandson and was wondering if it is important to get an 88 key or does it matter?
He wants piano lessons and I wanted him to have something at home he can practice on.
3 AnswersClassical6 years agoIs Hounslow a good place to stay when visiting London?
We are taking a trip to Europe and will be going to London first. We booked our hotel in Hounslow and thought I would see if anyone could tell me any information about it. Is it a nice area? What are some attractions in London that I really should visit?
Also heading to Paris for a few days. Where is a good but somewhat inexpensive place to stay there?

2 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoCan you help me with a name for my new winery/beer garden?
Me and my hubby are working on a business plan for a winery where we have tastings and a place to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine with some fresh fruit or cheese and in another area of the establishment my husband wants to serve beer and have an open area for local bikers to come and hang out. Sounds weird but if we find the right location it will be a great attraction. I can't for the life of me figure out an awesome name and would love some ideas if you have any.
3 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoCan you give me ideas on a business name?
I would like a label for not only my homemade wine but also a winery for the future. My name is Sherrie but sometimes go by Shera and my hubby's name is Dave but goes by Jager on occasion. Our last name is Arnold. We love the personal touch and want something that connects to the public. Of course the name doesn't have to include our names as long as it is catchy.
1 AnswerOther - Advertising & Marketing1 decade agoCan you help me with making wine?
I bought a wine making kit from a place and not sure how to use it. I have a bucket, a bottle, and some tubing. Of course I bought a recipe book and can easily get the stuff that goes into the wine but I can't figure out how to use the kit. Can someone help me out on this?
1 AnswerBeer, Wine & Spirits1 decade agoCan you help me with a short story called "The Law of Life" by Jack London?
Yes, I am doing homework and trust me...I've struggled with this for a long while now. Can you please help me out?
There is a significant event that Koshkoosh remembers when he was younger. I can't really decide if it was the bull moose or his father dying alone.
Next, I can't figure out what the significance of the cold muzzle thrust against Koshkoosh's cheek is at the end of the story.
2 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoHelp with my Clematis Will Goodwin vine?
I planted some very small vines in my yard next to a trellis and they started out growing pretty fast but stopped all of a sudden. It's like they don't want to grow past the top of the stem. I'm stumped as to what to do and was wondering if anyone had some helpful hints for me.

I manage a community and we have had a lot of problems with Armadillos rooting up under our air condenser units. How can I get them to stop digging on the property?
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhat's with Homeland Security?
I just read an article from the Washington Times that says Homeland Security issued a warning to law enforcement officials about right wing extremist activity. They not only included such things as hate groups or racist groups but also "groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority." What does that mean? According to the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution all powers not granted to the national government are reserved to the states. So is Obama and his administration now saying that "although they are stepping on the states' sovereign powers those who disagree with them will be considered a right wing extremist and dangerous?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/14/fe...
I'm very excited that my state representatives are standing up for our rights but could they now get into trouble for boldly stating that the federal goverment must cease and desist? Texas Representative Creigton and co-authors introduced HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the 10th Amendment... (you will have to read it if you are interested). I just want to know your thoughts on the orders given to Homeland Security and what their real agenda is. Are we going to all get busted at the Tea Party tomorrow. Certainly that falls under right wing extremist because we aren't in agreement with what Obama and his Democratic Congress are doing.
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAm I the only one who sees the irony?
Obama rants and raves and bashes Bush for the war in Iraq. People praise Obama and hate Bush because of the cost of the war and the senseless killing. Obama becomes President. Obama wants to do the exact same thing in Afghanistan than Bush did in Iraq. Where are the bashers who don't agree with war now?
Just curious if you see the irony and the complete lack of ideals that these people have when it comes to politics. If you hate war for one President why can't you have a spine and hate war and the President for the other one...especially since you voted for him based on the fact that he "said" he didn't agree with the war.
14 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo You Believe This is Unconstitutional?
FACTS: Obama's attorneys went to a California State Court along with California's State Attorney General Jerry Brown and convinced the judge to rule that only Members of Congress can challenge the qualifications of serving as President. He further ruled that a challenge can only be made on the 6th day of January following the meeting of the Presidential electors, at the session of Congress where the vote of the Electoral College is counted and the results announced.
This question has nothing to do with the ongoing crap about Obama's eligibility. My question is whether it is Constitututional. Why would we allow a President to implement laws such as this? Will he next go to a small rinky dink court in another liberal state and implement a law saying that his term will be for 8 years instead of four?
8 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoSo what did you think about Pelosi During the Speech?
She looked like she was a little Princess in her chair behind Obama during the speech last night. I was cracking up. Biden kept having to stand up every time Pelosi stood up to clap (which was about every other sentence out of Obama's mouth) and I think he would have liked to strangle her for it. Funny stuff

How can it be ok to allow radical Muslim groups (Muslims of America) to occupy land and engage in military or guerilla combat training? Are we so worried about being politically correct even after 9-11 that we allow this threat to flourish in our back yards? They are not just playing games - they must have an agenda. Your thoughts?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you know what kind of plant this is?
I went to a farm a few months ago and they had these vines growing everywhere. Some of the vines were just coming out of an old barn window like it didn't even have any dirt. They are very hearty, it was blooming during the fall and may bloom more but I didn't ask. The flower is very bright purple or could be considered blue I guess. I can't for the life of me remember what the name of the plant is. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks
6 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoSo Who has Lost Jobs and Who of You Are Doing Better?
I have read countless answers to questions today that said that Republicans are just mad because they "lost" and Obama is doing just fine. So I thought I would ask how many people have lost their jobs since Obama was elected? How many people are actually doing better now? I'm pretty much the same for now but the industry that I work in has taken a pretty big hit and it doesn't seem to be getting better.
For those of you who want to say "he hasn't had enough time" let's remember that the stock market continues to go down down down and his doom and gloom talks are not helping much either.
18 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoObama Pooed on the Small Business Owners?
I just found out that Obama has signed into law that all federal jobs must be given to union workers.
Now how exactly do you think that is going to help the small business owners? The only people making out here are the unions. The jobs cost more and it eliminates how many people from being able to acquire new jobs?
I don't see anyone getting ahead right now except those who "funded" Obama's road to dictatorship!!
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWould you say that Obama had NPD?
Here is the definition of NPD:
Narcissistic personality disorder:
A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:has a grandiose sense of self-importance; is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love; believes that he or she is "special" and unique; requires excessive admiration; has a sense of entitlement; is interpersonally exploitative; lacks empathy; is often envious of others or believes others are envious of him; or her shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.
Vaknin is a world authority on narcissim and he believes that Obama is indeed a narcissist and may even have NPD. One of his quotes is as follows: "Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. The book took him a lot longer than expected and at the end it devolved into...guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which, he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book 'Dreams From My Father.'"
Vaknin also pointed out that Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign has no interst in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.
So in reading this...do you think Obama has NPD? Do you think that he really cares about anyone but himself? Just curious.
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat Do You Think About Obama Controlling the Census?
I know that minority and liberal interest groups went crazy when Obama nominated a Republican Senator because they feel that a Republican in charge of the Census will screw up their numbers. Did OBama decide to take control of it before or after these groups started shouting out or did he decide he wanted control just so he can change up the Congressional districts in order to put more people in seats that will follow him without question?
I just read that Gregg declined the position (which I'm proud of him for taking a stand). His quote and I'll provide a link as well was "“Obviously the President requires a team that is fully supportive of all his initiatives." Amen on that one.
This makes me a little nervous for some reason. So what are your thoughts on this? I'd like to get a better grasp on why Obama would want to control the census when an outside more scientific group of statisticians seem much more likely to do a fair and accurate job.
