Sometimes the stem is still on there. I find the stem a little strange. What about shrimp tails? Do you eat the tail? I know some people eat the tails, but they are weird to me. Why would the tail be any different than the rest of it? Is there something wrong with me?

I thought it was a ladybug at first. Red with black spots. But a closer look revealed a tick-like thing. Round body, sort of bent over or curled, with several overlapping sections. It's head is buried into a leaf. The head, very small, has many black and white spikey things poking out of it. This is one creepy bug. It's like a ladybug-tick-rolly polly. OMG

We have ANGELZ, SWEETZ, PRETTY, and SCHOOL. Are there others?

This girl was adopted at age 3 and is now 9. (Our daughter was adopted by us at birth and is now age 5.) The girl sustained a head trauma when she was 8 months old and has a metal plate in her skull. She does not have any apparent physical or mental disabilities.

The girl has had some behavior problems, taking things that don't belong to her, poor memory, poor grades, etc. Yet she has remarkable ability to construct things! I've seen her create ingenious things out of plastic spoons, tape, or yard stuff. I see a true engineer there.

Her adoptive mother doesn't see it that way. She says, right to the girl, that she's a disappointment and is "screwed up in the head from birth." She has told me that she gives the girl sleeping pills every night before bed to make sure she sleeps all night but she doesn't tell her what they are. She plans to give her birth control pills once she starts menstruating but she won't tell her what they are either.

I'm just heartbroken that these parents are telling this wonderful girl that she's a terrible child. They say she's impossible to raise. They tell her she has no worthwhile talents. As far as we can see, and we see her on a daily basis, any behavior problems she has had are normal child development. She just needs guidance.

What can we do?

We are selling our house and I wonder how clean I should keep our refrigerator. It's decent, but should it be spotless?

About a week after beginning Zoloft I noticed ringing in my ears, especially at night. I'm not around a lot of noise usually and my hearing has always been very good, exceptional even. I realize I could have Tinnitis that just happened to develop at this time, but I'm hoping its due to the Zoloft and will cease when I'm no longer taking it.

I've been all over the internet. Why the heck can't I find a photo of this guy?

My mom's boyfriend dresses up like Santa Claus every year and passes out gifts to all the kids in the family. His suit is all complete. I'd like to have my daughter (age 4) to give him (Santa) a gift that he could incorporate into his suit. Like maybe a Rudolf button or some other flair. Any ideas?

We don't allow our dog upstairs because that's the cats' territory. But I worry about her getting lonely at night, so I often sleep on the couch with her. Am I the only one?
