  • Can I bring this on a plane with me?

My friend left her prescription depression pills down at my house, and I'm flying up to see her tomorrow and want to bring them. Can I bring them on the plane with me? Or will I get in trouble because they are not mine?

  • Is this heroin that I found?

I have 2 "ex" heroin addicts in my house. I found a little bit of sticky, black tar like substance in a bag for a pawn shop (like it was accidentally dropped in there and never recovered about a month ago). It smells a bit like rubber and leaves black on my fingers as it did when they smoked it. I have no doubt this is heroin, am I correct?

  • Dancing after high school?

I want to go to college for dance. Is it a bad idea to major in dance at a university rather than dance at an arts college? I just feel like the program wouldn't be as good as an arts college's would, but would it still be decent?

On the chance that I didn't make it into a college for dance, is there any training for people over 18? I noticed that most studios that I have danced at don't have a program for adults, so I'm guessing I would have to join a company of some sort that doesn't affiliate with an average studio, but I really have no idea haha. That's why I'm asking for help(:

So University vs. Arts school? And Dancing as an adult not associated with a college? Thanks!

  • Bra for dancing please!?

My boobs are way too damn big! Trust me, I'm not bragging, I HATE it! I am 4'11" with a 34D! They go everywhere when I dance *blah*. It drives me crazy. I wear a sports bra to dance, but they still bounce way too much! Are there any bras that I can wear that will make them look smaller while keeping them in place?

    Thanks(:

  • A couple of questions about my hair?

    1) My hair gets super greasy after one day. I will wash it one day and the next day it is absolutely greasy. I heard that in order to make your hair healthier that you should wash it every other day, but I can't do that because it's so greasy! I have tried dry shampoos, and just rinsing it in the shower, but either way it is still so oily. Any suggestions?

    2) I have thin hair. I need a cheap way to thicken it. Any tips?

    Thanks(:

  • Can I still make it as a dancer/choreographer?

YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS, but it would help(: If you don't want to, just skip to the *. (:

I'm 15 and I'm constantly comparing myself to the other dancers my age on the really good teams. I've been dancing since 5th grade (took a year and a half off due to financial issues), and I'm going into 10th grade. I really want to make it as a dancer and/or choreographer, but I feel like I won't be able to because I haven't been dancing since I was 3 like most dancers do.

I personally think that I don't have great technique, but when I lived in Washington the studio owner and team administrator asked me to try out for the team. I know it was because the hard work I put into dancing, and I show that I'm committed. I tried out for the team and made it as an alternate (not actually competing unless I had to), and she told me the only reason that I made it is because I work so hard and my technique is not up to par with the other girls on the team.

From there I moved to Nevada and had to start over with a new studio. I danced rec one year, and I was on a team the next year (it was a intermediate team). After that year I had to take my year break because of financial issues and I just recently came back to the studio that I danced at before. My teacher that I have now was one that I never had before, but she is constantly telling me how good my technique is and has me demonstrate. There are only 2 other girls in the class. Anyway, my teacher is helping me get on a team and if the spots are all filled (because there were already auditions), then she wants me to take team technique classes.

**So pretty much what I'm asking is, is there a chance that someone who has been dancing for about 3-4 years that is 15 will make it as a dancer/choreographer?

    Thank you so much

  • How to cope with depression?

I haave been depressed since I was about 13-14 and I'll be 16 soon. I've been smoking pot to cope with it (which most of you don't agree with, but it helped for me). My dad recently found out about it, and told me he doesn't want me doing it, but he will find another way to help with my depression. I went to the doctor and tried therapy, but it didn't help and it was extremely awkward to where I couldn't deal with it anymore (I have quite a few problems on top of depression, that are not diagnosed to "figured out"). But anyway, would a doctor prescribe medication for it? Or is therapy really my only option? I want to find out before I drive and pay for the doctor.

  • Horses or dancing? I don't know what to do!?

I know this is the horse section and I'm asking about dancing, but I know that there are a lot of people in this section. I have two passions in life. Horses, and dancing. I want to make a career out of one of them, and I love them both equally. Honestly, I have thought about doing both, but there is no way I would be able to. I would need to dedicate my whole life to one of them and wouldn't have time for the other. I'm not going to give details, but what would you do in this situation? If you had two passions and had to choose one. I'm a sophomore in high school so I really only have a few years to dedicate myself to one or the other. Please help. Thanks guys(:

  • What would YOU do...?

Just a fun little question. Okay, so if you wanted to give lessons, would you rather do it in a city that doesn't have a lot of those kind of lessons, or one that has a lot.

So, for example, say you wanted to give barrel racing or gymkhana lessons. Would you want to do it in a city that has a lot of other places with gymkhana lessons, or one with very few? Why?

  • Small towns for a school project?

You know those towns in movies that are like small country rodeo towns? I need to find some of these in the southeast region, around Kentucky, Louisiana, that sort of thing. The town from 'Did You Hear About the Morgans?' and 'Straw Dogs' are really good examples. Oh, by the way, I need these for a school project. Thanks for the help guys!
