http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080320/ap_on_re_us/tr...
cops using cars as a weapon...if this would have been a citizen do you think the punishment would have been more severe or do you think this is another abuse of power?
7 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agohow is this for a fair deterant?
if a cop is found guilty of lieing in a case,
abusing the power we have granted them
of negligence or any other crime that has a direct effect on the outcome of a case...that officer would have to go thru the punishment the citizen was sentenced to
6 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agowhy do cops not accept responsiblity for their actions?
instead of lieing, strealing and hiding behind the good cops that, I hope, out of misplaced loyalty cover for them
I thought it would only be fair in response to another question on here
14 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agowhat would have happened if studets Northern Illinois University would have been allowed to carry?
since police cannot be everywhere (unless we want to live in a military zone). why do we take away college students 2nd ammendment right to bear arms, then cry and scream when a tragedy like this happens?
personally I would rather teach the students proper weapon control and technique then see more stories like this or have someone infringe upon my 2nd ammendment right.

to clear this up.. I respect the cops that show me respect.
If I have done something wrong, I dont attempt to talk my way out. I accept the consequences for my actions, yet I have spent a couple of nights in jail, I know I am not alone here, due to officers lies.

10 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agodo we have the right to protect ourselves from tyrannical cops?
I started this earlier but the question got lost in the shuffle.
as we hear more and more about police corruption getting more widespread and dangerous due to the "wall of blue" ,when it comes to prosecuting and seaking legal restitution. how are we supposed to protect ourselves? the court system is extremely biased towards police and the townships that pay them.

we hear that illegals are a neccasary evil in that they do jobs Americans will not. Could we remove all the illegals by taking away welfare programs for those that do not need them...the woman that has 5 kids and no job. the people that can work but refuse.
