I'm kinda freaking out. I'm in eighth grade taking ninth grade math (Algebra I) and my 4th quarter grade is an 85 right now. The other quarters I've had 95, 90 and 95. I'm upset because this will be on my high school transcript and I don't want to look like a terrible student! I try the best I can but my teachers give us these tests that everyone fails but they don't do anything about it! Is an 85 bad? I'm freaking out a lot. What's considered good for a final grade in Algebra I? Thanks for answering!

I'm in eighth grade, and the school year is going so fast. We only have 20 school days until regents/finals (not including weekends) and it terrifies me that I'm going to be a high schooler next year! I don t want to grow up. I love middle school, but I'm afraid high school will be different. I feel like I'm going to cry every time someone mentions summer or high school or graduating. Does anyone have any advice about high school? I'm not worried about grades, or friends. I'm worried about being older. High school sounds so old and mature and boring. It just doesn't seem as enjoyable. Can anyone relate to my feelings, and do you think high school will be fun for me? And do you think high schoolers are "old"? Most importantly, how can I cope with getting older?
