diflucan during pregnancy?
I have had yeast infections on and off this whole pregnancy, & basically had one continuous one my whole last pregnancy. so I've grown accustomed to the 3day cream suppository applicator type treatmeants as thats all my doctor ever recommends or allows. I came down with a yeast infection again about 3 days ago and called in for a prescription. a midwife from his office called it in, not my doctor himself. when i picked up my script today it was diflucan pills. 2 of them. from what I've read it is a one dose treatment. why would she prescribe me 2 to take 72hrs apart? after i took the first pill it dawned on me that my ob has specifically told me NO PILL TREATMEANTS during pregnancy. period. i called his on call doc and was told DO NOT take the second pill to call for another appointment if it isnt cleared up. will this harm my baby? Was a 2 pill dose wrong? & would i be wrong to complain at my next appt? You would think midwives would be on the same wave lengths as the doctors..

4 AnswersPregnancy7 years agowisdom teeth extraction, minimal instructions??
I went in yesterday to have a wisdom tooth pulled, & they discovered i had a full second set of wisdom teeth (not common!) The doctor decided to get my 3 bad wisdom teeth out, & took the extra 3 behind them that were still under the gums. (totaling 6!)
they gave me some instructions about gauze, bleeding, pain meds, ice packs, & avoiding straws and smoking.
how long do i have to avoid smoking?
When will semi solid/solid foods be okay?
is there anything else crucial they should have told me about care and healing?
Thanks!

6 AnswersPregnancy8 years ago22wks leaking fluid (tmi)?
I'm 22wk 4d with baby #3 (pregnancy #5) for the past few weeks I've been dealing with a leaky bladder, which is gross but normal for me during pregnancy. 2 Days ago i sneezed and peed a little (sorry tmi) but then about 3min later i felt another gush of fluid. but sliightly thicker or maybe slimier then pee. Hard to describe but yes i felt to check because i did not feel my bladder muscles relax like i usually do when i leak urine.
i called my ob to be safe and they had me come to the office. during a pelvic exam my midwife asked me to cough hard and said it couldn't be my waters as nothing came out when i coughed.
my question is, is this normal? to have bladder leaks you can't feel at all?
& Also wouldnt ur bag of waters shift if you were lying on your back making the fluid farther up from your cervix causing the cough test to be inaccurate?
