I have been working for the same employer for 5 years. I become pregnant and come back part time. I now work every evening and finish at 8. By the time I get home and get my son from childminder and once he has had his bath milk and ready for bed it's almost 10pm. We wakes up at 10am every morning having 12 hours sleep. My son is coming up 3 and starting nursery on Monday. He cannot go to bed at 10 and be woken up at 7 ready to go nursery. He will be tired and will not learn or interct. He will not develop right either. And I'll get called a bad mum for putting him to bed late. I want to change my hours to 9-6 for 2 days a week. There excuse is that they need evening staff but they can get the full timers to change there shifts about. In not taking no for an answer and I really don't want to leave but don't want my son to suffer from this stupid answer they are giving me. If I leave they will still have to find someone to repace me. Please if anyone can help or advise I'll be much appreciated x

He is slightly a whitish colour all over. He isnt dry as a spray him down several times a day...Does this mean he is about to shed. At what age do they shad? Or what else does this mean.

I got a chameleon yesterday and whenever I put the heated light on he goes under there and opens his mouth. Why do they do this. Is it normal. Do I need to do anything when he does this?

Bit of a long story ... Basically my mate is a family friend of my x bfs family. Me and the x have a kid. We have all been invited to her engagement party. Me and the x's mum does not get along at all. Last time I saw her was 6 months ago and she called me the c word. I know so mature right !!! I know it sounds like a stupid question but I don't want to be mean. He took me to this very posh expensive place and paid for everything including cab there and back been seeing him like 3 months now. He is nice and I do like him but he is too young for me and plays a lot of Xbox etc and its already annoying me so I defo know I don't want to be with him. Again I know that sounds like a redik excuse but I'm a mature 25 year old with a 2 year old son and live with just my son and he is 22 who still lives with his mum and all his mates and him are so immature and he is very messy I'm always cleaning up after him. How can I let him down gently bare in mind I work with him and see him everyday. Do I say it to his face or right him a letter. Where do I tell him? Can't really ask him round a break it off that's mean cos he will have to go home upset. Please help.

Last night was the worst night of my whole life. My 2 year old woke up screaming as if he was being attacked at 1am. I ran in there and he was standing up red face real tears and a terrified face. I grabbed him and he rapped his arms and legs around me. I took him in my room and he kept saying scary, what's that? And pointing at nothing. Jumping and making worried noices. Tryed to put him down and cuddle him and he layd down for like 1 min and then shot up and started to scream again. I put the light on to show nothing is here. I put the telly on for a bit. Then he calmed down and he wouldn't sleep in bed with me so I put him back in his bed. Seamed ok when I put him down. As soon as i walked out. The same thing happened. Got him up again and he was doing the same thing jumping pointing and moving away from 'nothing.' He was scaring me. Finally got to sleep at 4, What couldn't be the course of this. He has always been such a good sleeper until last night. It was horrible to see.

I work part time due to looking after my son all day until my (x) boyfriend come home from work and only get £500 a month. Before we had no help with benifits as my sons dad got quite a bit of money. Now we have split he has said I can have the flat that's £900 a month. Is there a number I can call or a website i have to go on to claim benifits?

My bf & I have been 2geva almost 2 yrs now. We have a baby (unplanned) was on pill so unexpected pregnancy. I was in a relationship wen I met my bf. My x & I had an amazing relationship. Always laughing, great sex life, lived 2geva, 4 yr relationship, family & friends loved him. I loved him so much. I got a new job & my boss was my bf now. There was a bit of harmless flirting but 1 day we kissed & my feelings became really strong 4 him, we even ended up having sex (yes I cheated & I'm not proud of that) I ended it when my previous bf & got with my new bf almost straight away. Things were great 4 the 1st 4 months. Went on holiday just had fun, had a sexual relationship. My son was conceived. & he didn't want to keep it. I'm totally against abortion. He loves my son 2 bits now. But since we found out I was pregnant he hasn't touched me sexually. We didn't have sex in the whole pregnancy & since he has been born (5 months ago) so a year & 2 months to be exact. I try & turn him on, touch him and he turns me down & rejects me all the time. He says im sexy Bla Bla Bla. I don't know why he don't want me. It's making my love 4 him disappear & im becoming so bitter towards him. He also doesn't like 2 feed my baby (milk & solids) change his nappy & when he cries he passes him straight 2 me. He doesn't get up in the night at weekends when he don't work. He is also so lazy. He is so secretive with his phone. He takes it in the loo with him even when he has a shower. Keeps it by his side all the time or upside down if he isn't using it. He wont let me take a pic with his phone. But to be honest I don't care if he is texin any other girl. It wont be cheating cos he isnt really with me. I feel like were 2 people who have a baby and live 2geva. 2 b honest it's probably best if we part. He is making me 2 upset with all these things he is doing to me. I don't wanna be in a relationship when he is hurting me like this. I'd prefere to be on my own with my baby. Please advice me. Thnx

i have a soft shell turtle. he is 7 months old and i have a heater in there. But today my heater has broke.. Well the light is still on so i don't know what is wrong with it. the water is so cold and its on 23 degrees at the moment. i have turned the heater up but no change. Do turtles actually need heated water to live? when i got the turtle the man in the shop said, they don't necessary need heated water but they are more active when it is heated. someone please help me. im worried about my little Squirt!
