I see this a lot more in traditional martial arts, probably because there is more history to cover. Having the artist study where his art came from, who it came from and so on and so forth. Do you find this to be important or necessary to learning a martial art or should you just be focusing on the techniques? Personally I don't think it is important, but it is kind of silly to dedicate a portion of your life to something and not know much about it.

My internet works fine when i plug the Ethernet cord directly into it, but when i try to do it through the router it wont have any internet access. i tried it on 2 different routers(both netgear) each time all the proper lights are on my modem. it just wouldn't connect for whatever reason. I called my ISP it didn't help. wondering if anyone here could help before I have to call them to send a guy out.

my opinion= other than the silva sonnen fight and tito forrest fight it sucked. the co main wasnt that great they both gassed 2nd round. other than that kim got a freak injury so lets not count that same with the mckenzie mendes fight cody never belonged there the second the fight was made i felt bad for cody. other than that in each fight it seemed like one of the fighters just didn't want to fight and did a lot of back peddling. it ruined their opponents gameplan. the back peddling wasn't anywhere near as bad *** guida/maynard but all around the card sucked except for 2 fights. your opions?

my coach calls him jon "jesus" jones as a joke because he is always claiming hes humble and the lord gives him all these gifts and even has a Philippians tattoo, but if he was so humble he wouldn't claim hes thinks hes the greatest he would say how other people are great and let everyone else judge him. God did give him a crazy reach that no one can train for. In my opinion if he didn't have that reach and throw those straight kicks to the knees(which in my opinion should be illegal) he wouldn't be thought to be the greatest right now. He is a great fighter and fast learner though.

compared to the last game it sucks. the new submission system makes it almost impossible to submit someone. the striking system is mediocre at best. the last one was sooo much better. the new just has better graphics

i don't like him because he always wants to wait to fight he wanted to wait to fight gsp when he got injured the first time. then got surprised nick diaz took that spot after the amazing bj penn fight. now he beat nick in one of the closest fights I've ever seen and wants to wait for gsp to heal up again so he doesn't have to have a rematch when any other FIGHTER would say "hey u dont think i won lets do it again and ill prove it to you." i have no problem with the way he fought diaz it was a great strategy
