Why are military, police, etc. radio transmissions such low quality?
With the radio technologies we have today, why wouldn't the military or police, of all organizations, use higher quality radio transmissions? I think it would help in stressful or time important situations.

, then solve each one.
a = 3.6, b=10.2, c = 5.9
Here's the problem - that ISN'T a triangle. Also, what the hell do they mean by more than one triangle?
I really can't solve it :(

I really can't define it! It's awesome, but I can't say what type of music it is!
4 AnswersOther - Music7 years agoIs it a good idea to ask for donations/funding for a acting/talent trip?
I want to use gofundme.com to receive funding for a possible trip to an IMT event in New York sometime later this year, but absolutely do not have 4800 USD to give for the travel of me and a guardian (because I'm not an adult yet). The audition personnel (because I don't know what you call the people you audition for) said I had really outstanding talent and had an excellent shot at the conventions (and gave me 9.5s and 10s for modeling AND acting auditions). The only problem - the conventions cost 4800 USD for me and a guardian to go, and I don't have even a tenth of that type of funding because my family lives borderline poor :/. But I really have a passion for acting and possibly modeling - like I'd love to act out and not just collect a damn paycheck, but portray emotion and expression of feeling unlike most others in the acting scenario.
Sooooo in summary, do you think it is a good idea for me to ask for donations/funding online?
Thanks!
2 AnswersTheater & Acting7 years agoHow can black holes have infinite gravity?
1. Gravity decreases as 1/distance^2 - but wouldn't infinite gravity permeate the universe?
2. Also concerning the strength as d^-2 - wouldn't that mean there can be no distance between whatever mass particles there are? How can this be possible considering that the only stable mass particles are fermions, which must obey the Pauli Exclusion Principle? (1/2 and 3/2 particles - quarks, electrons, neutrinos, protons, neutrons). Bosons don't have to obey they exclusion principle, but regular bosons (like photons and gluons) don't have mass (and don't say the Strong Force has mass inside protons and neutrons, it is actually antiquarks which give the proton and neutron rest masses). This is confusing
3. Can stars pull a black hole, if the singularity really has infinite gravitational pull?
4. If light can still be affected by gravity, and possibly have gravitational pull as well, wouldn't the photon sphere eventually pull a black hole apart?
5. How can gravitons escape when photons can't? Wouldn't gravitons pull on each other, or do they pass through one another?

Like, it looks pretty unpopulated from Google maps... there are only the occasional towns there. Really, what do people do there for fun!!???

If the width of the base of a cubic container is increased by 3m and the length of the base decreased by 1m, then the volume of the new container is 6m^3. What is the height of the cubic container?
4 AnswersHomework Help8 years ago√(x) + √(x-36) = 2 Find all Real and imaginary solutions?
Can someone explain step by step how to solve this? I've tried all the methods in the book and none of them seem to work. :/ Wolfgram alpha doesn't even explain it well enough.

If someone could do it step by step and explain why it works, thanks! I just couldn't get an answer and I genuinely tried, this isn't so I can get out of a hard homework problem.

I don't get it, is it a reference? I'm seeing it a lot lately online.
3 AnswersEtiquette8 years agoPhotons of different energies?
How can a photon of, say, blue energy, have more energy than a red energy photon, if they travel at the same speed and have the same mass? My mind is really messed up from that. And what's this deal with EM waves having crests and troughs? I thought photons don't change direction until they hit a mass particle, so how can there be waves that go up and down constantly? And how can one photon still have a wave property ( up and down) by itself?
Also...... How can two charged particles "pull" each other with photons? I get pushing each other away (cause photons are shot out from a quark or electron or neutrino) but how dies the pull work?
For all of these questions, please link me with a visual aid online of my brain will explode with all the text based answers :p
