So, my story idea was that a man brings a mannequin with him whenever he's on transportation because he has a problem with people getting too near his personal space. (Think a guy who has issues over someones untied shoelace on his own shoe)

Thing is he wants a human connection. I was thinking that a conflict would be himself:specifically his inability to befriend other people because he wishes they were more aware of other people and weren't so careless in their actions.

I wanted for the relationship with the mannequin to slowly change from him just using it as a convenient object to it being a substitute for other people. And there to be some way that he loses the mannequin to create tension like someone accidentally pushes him from behind while waiting for the train and the mannequin falls on the tracks.

But, I feel like bringing in the mannequin into this story isn't helping him achieve his want which is human contact.

I thought maybe I'd fit the mannequin at the end to show how he hasn't grown from wanting people to act a certain way but I have all these scenes in my head to show his relationship with the mannequin becoming that of a substitute for people.

Please help me figure this one out.

Also, I feel like this script sounds too much like Lars and the Real Girl. My dude is just not as awkward as him, isn't in a romantic relationship with the mannequin and doesn't have a whole town to support him.

My original concept was a guy brings a mannequin with him on his travels, but I feel like Im making a statement more than a story here with conflict more conflict and a resolution. The mannequin just feels like an obstacle in this one. Because he's acting on his not wanting people to touch him rather than on his want of human connection.

We've already started talking on the phone so this wouldnt be the first real convo though I have plans to get into the deeper emotional stuff. This is the first time in over 10 years that I get to meet him. He briefly lived with us when I was about 5 and I don't remember his face so he's physically a stranger.

My mom is adamant that he not enter her house and I'm fine with that, question is where to meet. My mom's coming along and I'm considering if it's a huge emotional commotion, I prefer not to have yelling in a restaurant or a park though restaurant already sounds cliche and boring to me. I don't really want to be doing things that are fun and interactive like playing a game somewhere either, just a place that is useful for talking. A park everyone will be sitting side by side and I don't see that working out too well, maybe we can walk around...

Keep in mind that I live in the NY and am thinking of meeting in the city, though idk if my mom is up for it.

right now my thumbnails are in a table, but im not sure how to a larger image in another box in the table that all the thumbnails will link to and change to their respective larger images. Also how do you without one thumbnail spacing down when you roll over another thumbnail.

Any html/javascript help will be appreciate. anything you know on it. keep in mind that i want them on the same page.

My navigation bar is on the side but with other images there it usually will move toward the bottom on one page and somewhere else on another.

I just bought my new gateway laptop today. Im using it as my primary computer having replaced my desktop for this one. Keep in mind that I am hardcore computer using, which means I use it frequently and everyday. id hope it could run for more than 2years and fast but who knows?

I'm a female sophomore in college and I recently got hired at a library, I'm to start work soon but Friday Im going to get my haircut in a way I've wanted it to be for some time now. It's a pretty popular style that involves getting the sides shaved. Pic below. But now I'm second guessing because I'm afraid theyd be shocked that I changed it or something even though they hired me with a twistout afro. What to do?

Do you think it's better to introduce yourself to some girl from school in school? or online? like on facebook or myspace?

I'm having trouble introducing myself in person because she's always with her friends and it's awkward, but I'm not sure about online b/c the ease and seeing if you click isn't really there.

I wonder if it would make sense to download joomla and use it for my art website and download wordpress for my art blog and just provide a link of sort to my art blog. Or should I just download Wordpress and use it as both my website and have a blog on it as well. Like click for my blog??

I'm deciding on creating an art blog with wordpress.org, Do I have to copyright every piece that I post? would that be necessary and if so how much would that be?

I don't have a credit. As of right now I have no money and would like to know how exactly does Paypal work? Should I set up a separate bank account to get money transferred there? Is it wise to accept credit cards instead of just money orders, (I'm not sure how credit cards work) With fees on Ebay do they take it out of your Paypal account? Is this selling thing as complicated as I'm making it out to be? Can you start with no money in this Paypal account or should I get money and put it there then start?

Please I need someone who can answer all these questions.

I read of many artists who do work for bands and websites and companies. I'm not sure how to go about doing so without having the money to showcase my art through my own website and find out how to broadcast myself. Some day I'd like to exhibit my art but in the mean time want to know of any websites for commission that can be trusted, and how to start getting paid to make art for companies, and bands. Help needed.

I do not really understand the concept of unrequited love when one uses the example that they've liked a person who did not know it and so it was unrequited. Why is this form of love called unrequited in some cases? The person who is being adored does not even know that someone likes them. Can't love be unrequited only when one likes the other but the other does not like them in that way? I think in many ways love is unrequited in all context because the depth of each person love cannot compare to the other. People love each other differently, one more so than the other.

She's 14 and I'm 17.

I see her only in the hallways and I never talk to her. How do I start talking to her?? That's one problem. The other and major problem is that I'm also a girl, and on her myspace it says she's straight. I really don't know what to do. Should I try this out or just let it go??

I'm 17 and I was wondering if creating an art website would be a wise choice in showcasing my art. Mostly I see older well known artists with websites and I wanted to know if it was a good idea to create one that was structurally professional at all.

So i'm not sure what happened. I have no idea if I did or say something wrong to her but I think she isnt talking to me. It might've been b/c yesterday another girl I'm friends with was having an argument with me and so I couldn't even talk to her. Today we were supposed to go to the mall and I call her and she wont pick up and then I msn her and she signs off. If I confront her she's likely to ignore me. and Im freaking out b/c I dont know what to do or to say. she's never been mad at me before.
