  • I'm 18, Out of school, And my parents wont even let me go out of state to visit my boyfriend for a few weeks?

    They HAVE met my boyfriend, have been dating 8 months now. My mother let me stay with him at a hotel for a week when he was visiting me. [he goes to college in another state] And since he cannot come visit me anymore. I am trying to go visit him for a few weeks. He has his own apartment, and is quite responsible, knows how to pay bills, etc.

    My mother is VERY over protective because I'm her baby, and only daughter. How can I convince her I will be alright and safe?

    I'm going to have my boyfriend talk to her, and reassure her that I will be safe. But I just don't know! I need help!
