I've maintained a consistent weight for the past year or so, but I just noticed some vertical stretch marks on my side, closer to my back. I'm not growing any taller either. What are these stretch marks from?

I've been using duolingo and watching New Wave movies, what else can i do? Any good books out there for a beginning French learner?

there's this girl who used to text me nonstop. she said she likes me a couple weeks ago, but i said i wasn't interested in dating.

Now she asks me questions and stuff, i reply, but she doesn't even open my messages for like 2 days. even though i don't want to date her, i still want to be friends, but if she isn't even going to acknowledge my replies and engage in a conversation SHE started, i don't really see the point.

Would i be a jerk if i just blocked her?

My gf died a few months back, and it's been really hard. One of her friends on facebook keeps posting how sad she is about her death a few times a month (stuff like "I'll see you in my dreams" or other sappy stuff like that). I wouldn't really mind this, but this girl was never really that close with her. She said so herself, the most recent picture of them together was from 6th grade, 10 years earlier!

I really don't want to knock this girl too much since her feelings may be very sincere, but this seems waaaay excessive. Should it bother me that my gf's death is being used as a tool for attention from this person that was never very close to her?

whenever i open a word doc, a box comes up saying something about starting in "safe mode", then disappears almost immediately. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Word and Office, but nothing is working. This all started after I tried downloading something that I originally uploaded, so I don't think it's a virus.

so this girl that I'm not remotely interested in used to message me to the point where it was becoming annoying. Anyway, she sometimes tells me "i have something important to tell you." I say, "ok what is it?" and she still hasn't even opened that message 28 hours later. I don't really care, but what kind of game is this girl playing? This happens a lot with her.

So I wanna get a tattoo that I can easily conceal, yet show off if I want to. I want it pretty small, nothing too gaudy. I was thinking about getting one on the inside of my foot, but I've been told that would look homo. Where/what do you guys suggest?

So my gf dumped me out of the blue last month. Her life has gone to **** since then. She started doing drugs, totaled her car, got involved with the wrong people, etc.. She s called me up crying. I try to help, but then she pushes me away. I think something outside our relationship may have led to her breaking up with me, and I think she honestly still loves me. But she has emotional issues, and I m wondering if that s why. What should I do?

My girlfriend and I have been going out for a year and a half and we've had a picture-perfect relationship. The other day, everything was normal (we were texting like usual etc). I got off of work and she said she wanted to tell me something in person. I went over and she said she wasn't happy anymore and wanted to leave me.

This was a complete surprise and I couldn't believe it was happening. We had so much fun together, and we went to a huge concert only two days earlier and loved every minute. It was a picture perfect relationship and I was so happy. I felt used and betrayed, but I figured everything would be better in the morning. She just wasn't acting normal

Next day, I went over to her house to see what was up and she said she didn't love me anymore. She gave me back the necklace that I gave her and yelled at me to leave. She said the sex didn't mean anything anymore and she would rather be alone than with me. She immediately changed her Facebook profile picture and status, and it was over just like that.

Now it's one day later. I keep asking her what exactly I did and she said she was just angry and to just give her time to think. She said she still loves me and misses me. We're supposed to talk in a couple days, but I don't know what to do. Should I get my hopes up if she already dumped me? Should I even bother with her any more? If she wants to get back together, will I be sorry?

Sorry for the rambling, but I just really need advice right now. I'm so confused.
