Baby #2 due 12-16-09

I need help on a problem similar to this (not my actual problem, since I want to figure it out myself).

I walk 8 miles south, then directly walk 3 miles southwest. Draw displacement vectors that represent the walk and draw a vector that represents the displacement from the starting point.

How I would solve is to use the triangle rule and draw a vector (I'll call it v) going straight down, then another from that vector's end point going down and to the left (I'll call it w). The displacement vector would begin at vector v's beginning point and end at vector w's end point. Is this right? Would the sum of these and the length of the displacement vector just be v + w? Which would be 11? this just seems too easy, I feel like I am missing a step.

When will I be receiving the rest? i.e. my status in 2008 was different than in 2007. I had a baby in 2008. So Turbo Tax told me I am due for another $300 stimulus check. It did not get added into my tax refund amount. I am assuming they send it seperately, but when?

About how much are they costing you? How long will you need to have them on? Did you get any other quotes on traditional braces, and if so how did the price compare?

I need ideas of what to send to daycare for breakfast and lunch for my 1 year old son. I still send stage 3 baby foods, but he seems to be refusing these more and more (of course). He does eat little bits of whatever we are eating for dinner and things like that. Also how much should I be sending? Any suggestions?
