Well, a few weeks ago, I invited my girlfriend over when my parents were there. Figured it'd be good since I got to know her parents a while back.

A few days later, I asked if I could go to a movie with her, but my parents refused, coming up with all these reasons for me not to.

Then they got honest. They said that they didn't want me to be with her anymore for these reasons;

she's "ugly" (Which I found very offensive and which I'm still angry about today) (She has a skin condition which she will outgrow) Her parents are divorced, "Bad fruits can only come from bad trees", She was shy to my parents (My parents are really intimidating, even to me), And that I'm not ready, I just turned 16 (Which I understand and that that last reason might have made you guys facepalm yourselves, sorry about that).

They say I should depend on the "wisdom" of my parents, which I want to, but I just can't. I thought there might be another way, but every time I talk to my parents about it, they dismiss it narrow-mindedly. That say I'm like a beggar on the streets asking for quarters.

She (My girlfriend) is really troubled about this, and doesn't know what to do anymore. I just want her to have a good rapport with my parents. I don't know what to do, since I've tried a lot of things. I don't want to give up. It's worth it. I just want my parents to see it.

If it helps I haven't been a good kid, lately. Maybe if I make most out of the next school year, it'll help. It has to, because if it doesn't, her parents won't see any good in this relationship.

You may say young love is foolish, and messed up. I know that, but that's not really what I need. So yeah, I just need advice. Thank you.

I feel like I want to just run into the wall over and over again. I feel like imploding and exploding. Only a few minutes before I was in a good mood and then I just want to effing scream! My family has no history of mental health problems, and so do I. Is there anything wrong with me?

I met this girl 2 months ago. I like her and I found out she likes me (I found out because all of her friends told me) but I haven't come clean to her yet. My friends tell me I should wait for a few months while others say I should tell her now or she'll be gone. Personally I think I should wait but I also want to tell her now. This is actually a stupid question come to think of it, but I don't want to screw this one up because she is just amazing.

I like bands like Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, Weezer, Blink-182, The Cure and Oasis. If you suggest a song it would be cool of it belonged to those genre, but a little diversity is ok too. NO JUSTIN BIEBER.

My band has been recording a few songs for a demo. I was just wondering how we could get it out.

Can I avoid a sore throat? Or at least make it less worse?
