  • WTF scenes in movies. Which are most memorable to you?

Every now and then, movies have very random moments in them that make you say "WTF!" which one stands out to you in your mind the most?

    For me, it's this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKZT2u3gYQI

It's even creepier when you find out that there was nothing in the script about him saying any of that. You can even see it on the other actors faces

Soundtrack From the Film More: Cirrus Minor and The Nile Song

  • Would you agree or disagree with these statements about bands and artists?

I don't necessarily agree with these. They're just statements I generally hear

    1) The only reason people listen to Journey is because of Steve Perry

    2) Black Sabbath were only good with Ozzy

    3) Technically speaking, Eric Clapton is a far superior guitarist than Jimi Hendrix

    4) Bruce Springsteen is far better live than he is in the studio

    5) Dave Grohl is a far better musician than Kurt could ever be

    6) Of all the tragedies surrounding rock stars, Syd Barrett was the most tragic of them all

    7) Billy Joel is the least disliked musician around

    8) Queen's music was so diverse in sound, that they can't actually be labeled as any sort of genre except for music.

    9) Rush is the most talented group of musicians that ever became a band together

    10) The Clash outgrew punk by London Calling

  • Did Syd Barrett actually know that he was thrown out of Pink Floyd?

I know that they stopped picking him up but does anyone know if he actually knew that they kicked him out. From what Mason said about when he came to the studio during Shine on you Crazy Diamond's recording it doesn't seem like he did. Does anyone know?

  • When do you consider yourself a fan of an artist?

Personally, I won't call myself a "fan" unless I own at least 3 studio albums and one compilation by that artist. I think that gives me enough exposure to the artist to know if I really do like that artist or not. How about you?
