My scanner says catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 2 so which one is it my car has three catalyst Converters its a 99 mercury cougar V6 2.5L also a p1518

What is it exactly what does it do cause I saw a few and there cheap compared to a venom performance module are they the same or what?

Ok when i stop it vibrates unless i put it on neutral then it stops also sometimes when I floor it eighter while iam driveing or when I stop and then floor it it takes its sweet time to accelerate like it gets Stuck at max rpms for a bit then ill hear a small pop then slowly it will pick up also when iam going to stop it wants to go and when I shift it to neutral the rpms goes all the up on it own why are the causes for all of these problems??? I also have another cougar 99 with 125xxxmiles (stick) but gives me no problems and this coguar 112xxx miles (auto) is idk thanks for the help

Ok recently I bought another 1999 mercury cougar V6 2.5L auto. for 1000 its in really good shape for the price it had some scraches but I painted it nicely anyways I want to make this one faster then my daily driving cougar I put everything on it as my daily driving one has like a 2.5"cat back flowmaster short ram intake performance chip ok now on the new one I got I want to add a high stall torque converter that will give me serious power but I just can seem to find one can someone point me to where I can find one it would be greatly appreciated also I was looking into some legal magnaflow high flow catalytic converter for it will that really increase my horse power a lot or just a bit also where can I get a turbo or supercharger for a good price oh and a good sneaky pete thanks a bunch for the help

Its a 99 mercury cougar V6 2.5L my odometer stoped working its digital how much where can I get one or how can I fix it also is it possible to get a salvaged odometer with lower mile and install it to my car or will it mark my og miles regardless I do my oil changes on time and I keep a record of how many miles I traveled

I have a 99 mercury cougar V6 2.5L and the headers I had were old and I want to update them but where I got them they went out of buisness and I tried the internet but nothing came up for my car so now I need a bit of help iam looking for carb smog legal header or just some good header that are affordable thanks. Also I live in california and the law sucks here but I still want them
