I put one of my cars up for sale, with a buy it now, postal money order prefered etc. I also put negotiable by phone/e-mail. Now I'm getting e-mails from people wanting to do the full payment or more than my asking price direct from pay pal. It seems fishy, and when I ask them to just bid, or i'll lower the buy it now, they have excuses why they cant. If i sold it like this, what would be my risks? or are they just trying to scam pay-pal and not me?

Picked up corbon .45 230g +p ammo, asked the guy at the gun shop(trust him), and he said if it's a newer weapon, it should be fine. Will it be ok in a 2006 mfg. full size 5" barrel 1911 by SMITH&WESSON?

Got a Federal Ordnance M14, Want to convert to USGI parts, need to know where to buy bolt assembly. Are Springfield any good or should I go with Trw/other? Can't find any for sale online

About a month ago my pops was diagnosed with lung cancer. A week later I was at his house when he couldn't move his legs, i laid him down and he stopped breathing. I began cpr immediately, and called 911. They arrived in 4-5 minutes, but they couldn't save him. Was it painful for him? Could I have done something different or something more? Just can't stop going over these events in my mind all day and all night. Thanks

when in park it idles fine, but blip the throttle and it's like it's flooding, in gear, if you accelerate extremely slowly it will go, but any more than 1/4 throttle, and it just bogs and then starts to hesitate and surge. New fuel filter, throtle position switch, plugs. just can't figure it out. Looked at the exhaust system, and the pressure out the tail pipe seems ok. What would be causing this? injectors? sensors? etc? thanks a bunch

I got my olds 455 up and running, and for a while, man was it awesome, but recently, i've had a major problem The car is bogging out, lugging, at around 2500-2900 rpm, but only in gear. I figured it was a fuel problem, so i installed a new summit mech. pump, and also cleaned up my edelbrock 750 (Rebuild kit, new accelerator pump, filters, floats, etc). Seems to run real well sometimes, and real bad others. It happens more often in hot weather. I thought the fuel bowls were running dry, or boiling fuel, but all my fiddling, and seems level was ok. My question is does this sound like a fuel problem? or more like a timing or tranny problem? In neutral, with no load, it revs great. Thats whats leaning me towards tranny. Thanks again so much,

Comp 268 extreme cam, Performer intake, Pertronix Ignition, 3.42 rear gear, th400 tranny, 2400-2500 stall, 1/2 inch 4 hole phenolic heat spacer, and lots of other stuff

Recently rebuilt my 70 olds 455 f block, and it ran great for a month or so, then, had a problem with carb float adjustment(too high), and since then there is a misfire. remove 1, 2, 4, 5 plugs(random) and idle changes very little, new cap, coil, rotor, wires, and newer plugs. Could this be a fuel issue, or more likely an ignition problem? Heads were rebuilt "E", valves or seals? Previous leakdown test showed good compression, and no excessive leaking. Any feedback would be appreciated.

1979 Trans AM T-top with a 1970 "F" block, comp xe268h cam, edel. 750 vac. sec carb, hooker haeders, "E" heads, performer intake, 9:1 compression, th400 with mild (2100-2300)stall, 3.42 rear, stock length pushrods, new American made lifters, timing around 34-36? Installed cam at 0*. What woulkd cause this, launches real hard, but then 98% of the time, at around 3400 rpm, acts like it's got a rev limiter? Thanks so much for answers

Ok, so i got a 79 trans am with a 455 olds in it. Recently, i put a new performer intake, "E" heads, and a edelbrock 750 carb on it. Went to start it up, won't idle below 1300 rpm, put it in gear and it dies almost instantly. Checked for vacum leaks, timing, carb set up, still no dice! Thinking it's either electric choke set up or vale problems? Too much lifter preload? Should shims do th trick? What do ya think it could be? Even if it's stuff i've checked, i'll check it again. Not sure of my cam and piston set up. Any suggestions on the proper head gasket and the compression thickness and torque specs?
