I'm thinking about a 600cc bike and I noticed that a lot of them are small and that some people like stupid riding such a small bike. I'm 6ft am I too tall? I'm thinking about a Honda cbr600

I'm originally from Texas so I have my Texas license (not motorcycle license) so I heard here I have to take the BRC on base then go out and take California's motorcycle test. Is there anything that I don't know? Like do I have to get a drivers license for California or what?

Ive been thinking about getting into sports bike and I dont want to buy new for when I undoubtedly will set it down. As far as the price, year, and miles work out does this seem like a good deal? I havent been to the dealership to inspect it myself I just want to know in general if this is a good catch for a new rider.

Im 6ft and skinny however I don't want to appear all hunched up on the bike like some people are. I am looking for around a 600cc engine size. As of now I'm debating between the Honda CBR or R6. I heard the CBR has a small frame but overall is nice while the R6 is uncomfortable but powerful. Any suggestions?

I know in boot camp you have to earn the tan belt and from what everyone says at my recruiting station that has come back says it is a joke. So how hardcore is black belt? And how long would it take to reach it?

I leave in 10 weeks and obviously I want to be in the best shape as possible. As it is now I do full body workouts monday, wednesday, and thursday. Also saturday and sunday my job could be considered a leg workout. Should I do more or less full body workouts? I dont always feel as strong for the Thursday workout as I do for the others but in bootcamp won't I have to work out the same muscles again and again for the first phase?

I leave for bootcamp in July and I would like to work on humps before I go, just as part of my usual workout. What type of pack do they use? Like I think a regular backback would be hard on the shoulders so do they use anything special? If they do, what is it and where can I get it for how much? Thanks.

I notice on here most times when people mention Infantry in any branch people are always saying "NOOOOO BAD DECISION" etc etc....why? Isn't that what the military is for? Protecting our country? Sure I know sometimes it will be boring but why do they hate it so bad?

I know all of the older Marines say that their boot camp was WAY harder than the things they do now, same with all of the Navy SEALS and my friend spoke to a Recon instructer and he said they are slowly becoming *******. So my question is why? The job is still the same now as it was in WW2.

On the enlisted side, they do more of field work which is what I am interested in, I would rather not be stuck behind a desk longer for the more years I serve. However an Officer already has a degree to go into the civilian world while if I went enlisted I would have to go after 4 years and I would forget all that I know now and be older then majority of everyone else in there. I'm thinking about going Marines and hopefully flying F/A-18's or F-35's one day, but what is life outside of training like? I heard there is only about 300 flight hours a year so what is done when not flying?

I know after SOI there is screenings for RECON and I believe you are given a 5 year contract if you make it. However for MARSOC screening, you need to be an NCO, can you try out for MARSOC while still in your RECON contract?
