  • Some gasoline wasted in my trunk. How should I get rid of the fumes? Is it a real danger. I have a 5 mth. old.?

    Ok so some gas from a gas can wasted out in my trunk which is an open trunk meaning there is no closure from the car. The smell really reeks and I need to get it out of the car for the safety of me and my baby. I cut out the piece of carpet that had most of the gas on it but it still seems to be some left. Will the smell still linger when I take all of the carpet out? I've tried to keep the windows down when not in the car to air out the smell but it's still there and when I have the windows down when I'm inside the smell seem to be blowing around. Should I ride with the windows down or the air on?
