I had a left side femoral hernia operated on 7/11 , it was an open surgery where they inserted mesh. At the time I was 26 week pregnant. It has been two week since the operation. They did not use my exsisting c-section scar but instead made a vertical incision down the left side of my groin. Underneath the incision is rock hard, which I told was normal, but I am having severe pain down in my left groin/thigh and down my left side of my labia. It feels like I am being stung by 10000 bee's , it hurts to wear under garments let alone be touched. By the end of the day I can barely walk from my clothes touching it. The Dr said the hard swelling is normal and some burning but this is worse than the actual hernia was. I was curious if anyone else has had this who had hernia operated on

I have gotten allergy shots for two years as I do have bad allergies, but Im starting to think that the symptoms i have had for the last year are not allergy anymore. I banged my shin today and immediately had a huge bruise, on top of the bruise i started to break out in hives with huge whip welts. Where my seatbelt rubs my skin I get these huge hives, if I bang or bump any part of my body HUGE whip hives. I bit my lip yesterday and my mouth broke out in hives . I probaby break out in 1 inch raised hives about 10 times per day. Allergy shots have done nothing. what else can this be?

I had my last period March 10th , I took a pregnancy test prior to this period that came up negative. April 10th I took a pregnancy test that came up positive. I went to the hospital today (17th) because I was spotting and have always been a high risk pregnancy. they did a blood test and an ultrasound. Blood test showed my HCG levels at 9 weeks pregnant ( which I KNOW ) is impossible that I am that far along, ultrasound showed no sac or anything. I have to go back tomorrow for more blood tests. What could this mean? Basically they are saying they see nothing but I am showing extremely high hormone levels.

I am purchasing a double stroller since I have one infant and one toddler who still needs a stroller. I have been looking at chicco and combi unsure which to get .

This is my 4th child so I have had breast soreness before . This is different. My breast swole up like when I was breast feeding and became rock hard , like they were engorged. To the point where it feels like I have hard rocks inside my breast. I cant even have a shirt touch them because its too painful. I took a warm shower and tried to massage them and it did help only I then started pouring out milk. Im talking enough to soak through three washclothes in about 5 minutes. I understand people leak but i could fill a bottle right now and Im still too early to pump. But Im in unbearable pain. I usually become engorged after I deliver and it eventually goes away with lots of pumping and breast feeding. Since I cant do those right now I dont know what to do.

I have friends coming in and want to take them to dinner on the water , we have kids so it cannot be super ritzy since they are both toddlers. Any ideas?

My oldest son is 7 years old, he has two younger brothers 2 1/2 and 1 1/2. It seems like lately he cries at the drop of a hat . Friday he cried because there was a mushroom on his pizza and I didnt pick it off fast enough for him, then because I wanted him to sleep in his room instead of on the couch. Then he cried because we were going to take him to Busch gardens and he didnt want to go, then he cried because I didnt buy him a happy meal I bought him a big kids meal , then he cried because I wanted to take him on a little kids coaster . I noticed when he is tired he cries more easily so I have been making him take a small nap in the afternoon which he cries about but then takes a 3-4 hour nap . I asked him why he cries like this because his younger brothers dont even cry this much , he says he gets his way when he is at his dads house if he cries as well as when he gets mad. Its frustrating because every where we go he cries and causes a scene to get his way.. His father and I are divorced and It seems like he knows how to play both sides against eachother and of course I dont like him being unhappy when he is with either of us , but he also says Im going to tell my dad you made me cry because he didnt get what he wants. What do you do?

I had my son April 25th this year , I do not breast feed just pump once per day. I have been waiting for my period , we have had unprotected sex three times since our son was born . A few days ago I started VERY light spotting and it went away , it started again the next day maybe a drop of light red blood and now its gone. The only time I have ever had that was implantation bleeding and was pregnant each time. Is it too early to test , Im not wanting to wait .

Every night I find it very hard to fall asleep because my feet feel like they are on fire.Not burning like athletes foot but actually hot. I wrap them in ice cold wet towel to try to cool them off. I have no clue what it could be . I am pregnant and know hormones change but I had it even when I wasnt pregnant..any ideas?

I have dark brown hair , I wanted to lighten it a few shades lighter. I havent colored my hair in months , I usually get it back to dark brown because it lightens in the sun but decided on going a few shades lighter. I used Loreal Colour experte , colored my hair , which is rather thick and fairly long I suppose. Either way my roots turned out nice and light like I want them to , but about three inches down where my hair used to be colored is still very dark. I think that maybe my hair didnt saturate it enough , usually I get it done at the salon and they always comment on how much color they have to use. Should I just try it again?

Im 20 weeks pregnant and hve PUPP anyone know any good home treatments? Im kinda tired of being on prednisone

This is my third child , with both my boys I didnt gain too much weight until about the 4 month and then blew up , well just my stomach the rest of my stayed small. With this one , I am 17 weeks and have yet to gain one lb. I wasnt over weight or underweight when I got pregnant this time. I weight 125 , maybe 5 lbs heavier than I have been all my life , but my last baby is only 11 months old and have yet to lost every lb from him. My dr actually said he was surprised I havent gained weight and asked if I was eating. I am I eat a normal lunch , snack , dinner and then a bedtime snack. I just cannot seem to put on any weight . No one even believes I pregnant , of course with the exception of those who have heard the heart beat and seen the ultrasounds. What is the problem here?

Im making different fudges and chocolate covered pretzels ect for gift baskets for family , how long wil the stuff stay good? When should I start making it if Im handin them out on Christmas and the day after

im 17 weeks pregnant and have this rash on my stomach and arms. I went to the Dr's and they have now gone from every diagnosis from psorasis to contact dermatitis , to now an allergy. I am on my second round of prednisone , and seem to have NO relief. some days it doesnt itch some days it itches like crazy , either way it looks HORRIBLE. They have ruled out shingles , scabies , and every communicable disease I asked . What is this and why cant they figure it out?

im 16 weeks pregnant and both in this pregnancy and my last pregnancy my feet feel so incredibly hot all the time , especially at night! In my last pregnancy every night I soaked my feet in ice baths , i cant sleep at night because they feel like they are on fire! They arent swollen and neither are my hands , my feet are just HOT

Im 16 weeks pregnant and severely allergic to EVERYTHING. I ended up with contact dermatitis and a rash over my entire body. The dr gave me a shot of prednisone and 4 days worth of pills will this hurt the baby? I will be calling my OB/GYN tomorrow which he knew about the rash and the topical steriod I was on but since its been getting worse they decided it needed a harder treatment

I woke up the other morning with a rash all over my arm ( Im allergic to everything from latex to nuts so I thought it was an allergy attack) The rash spread to my stomach and other arm and now back. I went to the ER just because of my severe allergic reactions , they said it was Guttal psoriasis. They gave me steriods and said it may get worse , well it definitely has! I itch so baf they are tiny red bumps. Not in lines but just here and there almost like chicken poxs which i had when i was a child. The steriods are not helping and my dr said just keep on it for a week , then go from there. Im scared my infant or boyfriend will get this although they tell me they wont
