I have really bad anxiety in general and this has been bothering me for months. I keep telling my friends and myself if she is invited , then I'm not going because of how she treats me, but they don't get it. I am too worried I will say something wrong and cause an argument or get embarrassed again. I have been bullied for over a year by this unfriend and maybe part of the problem is I'm still angry with this her. I'm resentful that they are friends with her, which is silly because I know I cannot control who people are friends with. I just wish there was a way to explain to them. I feel like I have been alienated from my friends.

This person bullied me literally for months because I have the same guy friend. She keeps accusing me of being possessive and jealous. We are just friends and yes I like him more then I should and because she knows this she seems give me the impression that she thinks I'm some love sick puppy and I think I am dating him or something. I try to get along with her and all is ok for awhile and she starts up again. I don't want to lose my friends but I do not want to be friends with her. Every time I let my guard down she just hurts me. They tell me to forgive andd forget but I don't want too. I will tolerate her if I have too.

Is every guy different or what? Does a guy spend a good portion of his free time with you if your just a friend?

For instance rearranging their plans and such so you can hang out with them? Or helping you get to appointments and such without asking when they don't really have too?

I really like this guy and I've gone on coffee and the odd movie with him. I know he likes me as a friend, but I am not sure if there is more. He is a guarded individual , although he is slowly opening up. I really want to progress in our relationship and I enjoy his friendship. It feels like things are going good, but still stagnating a bit, like there could be more but we are both shy. Do I need to specify that it is a date? I've told him that I like him and he still hangs out with me. He is very hard to read.

Example: a certian colour shirt or a specific type of deodorant. I just casually mentioned around a bunch of friends I like the smell of old spice and the next time I saw him he quite obviously smelt like it.

P.S. I like him and he knows it so...I'm probably over thinking this.

I told him via note. He still talks to me but he hasn't commented on it. He smiles a lot when he talks to me. Also he is very guarded and shy. Is he still processing the information or is he worried he'll hurt my feelings or what?

I really like this guy I've hung out with him a few times, but he seems very guarded and I am not sure what's going on with him. I really want to kiss him but I am unsure of how to initiate because I am shy. At the end of the dates or whatever it is called there are these lingering silence like there is something there is needed to be done other than talk. I'm not sure how to explain it. When I am with him there is a strange neutral comfortableness. I just feel like this is stagnating a bit and I am not sure what to do. This is driving me mental.

I've tried lots of things, like setting aside a worry time, meditation, etc. Nothing seems to help.

I know they say you shouldn't chase a guy if you like him and that he will chase you if he is interested blah blah blah, I really like this guy and I've gone on three coffee like dates with him and he accepted each time I asked (the last time he sort of asked.) I don't know if he is shy. just being nice, or lazy, but when he talks to me his voice gets softer? He winks at me occassionally and he seems OK talking to me, no weirdness or anything. The thing is I don't know if he likes me too and I don't want to keep bugging him to hang out if he is not interested.

I'm shy too, so I really don't know what to do?

So I have been out with this guy a couple of times once for coffee and then another time for pancakes. But I had to ask him twice. I am unsure if I now let him make the move or wait a while and ask him out again? Not to mention he has yet to give me his number. I don't want to push him because he is a really awesome guy. Both times prior to our "date" he would ask "are we still on for such and such?" as if he was making sure we were still going. We work together so I am not sure if this complicates things and I am unable determine what he wants, whether he just wants to be friends or if it is progressing to something else. It doesn't help that I over analyse everything.

Actually its pancakes so its kind of a breakfast date, I guess. We work together. I digress I am so painfully anxious about asking a guy out I had to give him a note both times I asked him out. Now I am worried that he is just being nice because he is a genuinely respectful nice guy. I guess he knows I am shy? Or maybe he is shy too? I still don't have his phone number so I don't know if that means anything.

I'm new to this dating thing, not sure how to tell.
