Driving and Thriving – Prompt Teen drivers.

I am writing this letter to express my concern for the new driving bill that has been drafted. There are many benefits to teen driving that are not adequately being addressed. Although there are many teens that have neglected the privalidge of driving, there are still many that prove to be responsible. Driving is a key component that is very helpful in teaching us, as young adults, important life lessons and responsibilities. When it comes to teen driving, I feel that the pro’s definitely outnumber the con’s, and I’ll try to share these with you.

As a young sixteen year old citizen of the United States, I take great responsibility in which the way I drive. As a citizen I work a job, in order to get to this job I half to have transportation. Most if not all teens have parents that work jobs and if they have no license, how can they get to work? If I have some type of after school program or sport to do, and have no parent or gaurdeen to take me, how am I suppose to get there if I cant transport my self? These are questions that many teens have, and have not yet got the answers to. So I ask you, can you answer them?

However as a responsible driver I can/_ and do make the roads safe for my fellow American driver. I fallow all traffic laws and fallow_ the laws _rules. According to ROCKY MOUSTAIN “RMIIA” INSURANCE INFORMATION ASSOCIATION, the amount of Teen Occupant Fatalities Ages 15-20, the number went down from 2003 “103” deaths to 2008 only “48” deaths.

Teens as well as adults have choices to make in life, unfortianly teens are looked down apone much more than adults for bad mistakes they make. Driving is a privalage, and I along with many other fellow teens realize this. In life we are faced with many choices, to do “right” or “wrong”, while driving as a teen I believe this will get us prepared for our future and the choices that we are going to have to make. If we don’t have the chance to make these choices on our own I believe we wont be prepared for life in the future.

So please don’t let this this law pass. Let teens be able to make there own choices to a certain extent. Let thrive and be good examples to the future generation coming up under us. And most of all lets us be the generation America has always wanted to see. Yours truly.
