I recently bought a Ottb his name is Indian road and they called him roadie for his barn name but its way to close to my geldings name Rodeo so I m looking for a barn name for him any idea?

I just bought a 12 yr old cow bred quarter horse mare. she's 15.1hh , sorrel with a big blaze face and 1 white stocking. personality wise she's very sweet and laid back on the ground you get on her she's very catty and like to get down and dirty with her cuts and turns but she is very easy to turn off she will stand still for hours.

she will be a barrel horse for me she was previously was a roping/cutting horse so i'm looking for a western type name or something unique

we just got in a rescue mini he's about 30 inches tall looks to be a chocolate color with a sun beached mane. he is very scared of ppl but once he seems your not gonna abuse him he's very sweet but can be spirited he has stays up for himself in fact he's scared my horses so bad that the pony is the new herd boss lol.

after he's trained he'll become my daughters pony so I don't want any names that's going to be hard for her to say.

I rescued a mare 2 weeks ago she's goin on 24 in march, she hasn't came into heat yet and i'm starting to worry

I have a proud cut gelding so I would know if she came into heat but he acts like she's a gelding he has nothing to do with her and she kicks at him everytime he gets near her hind end. I know that it's winter but our 12 yr old mare is already in heat could she just be not coming into heat cause of winter? or could she actually be bred? I took her to a vet he said he didn't think she was bred but said if she was she would have one in 10 months.

from what I've heard about this mare her 3rd foal was unexpected as she was vet checked and told she was open and she had a foal 4 months later so i'm wondering if that can actually happen and if that's happening now? I do plan on taking her for a ultrasound soon I just a few answers to maybe ease my mind some

we rescued a gelding over the weekend and still cant find him a name.

he's about 8 years old 16.2hh red roan gelding he's looks almost thoroughbred with his long neck, body and legs and has the appy eyes.

he is a very sweet and calm gelding loves to be in your pocket type

i'd like a unique name for him but also something that says he's a gentle giant not a crazy app

my fiancé and I have been trying to find a good middle name for the name Mason our last name is Sawyer, we have having problems finding a middle name to go with it though.

was thinking about the name Conner but not 100% on that.

I just rescued 2 horses

First one is a 2 yr old qh gelding he's Bay with a half a moon on his head and black socking, he's very sweet and gentle but is a big boy standing at 15.2hh with a nice bulldog build. I'm wanting a western type name for him.

Next is a yearling saddle filly solid black, she's a little on the nervous side and stays to herself but won't let the others boss her around.

Please no rude answers they didn't come with names and I'm tired of calling her filly and him boy lol

my barrel mare has been raced in a double reined bit for the last 3 years I do not like the bit at all and will not use it so i'm looking for a new bit for her.

I tried a wonder bit on her she turns ok with it but she doesn't have the best brakes I know its a training issue but shes older and its taking time to get her responding to a bit but in the mean time i'm looking for a bit to run her in.

what is your out look on sweet 6 and a jr cowhorse bit? I've heard good things about both bits

I got a 13 month old qh cross stud colt about a month ago and just loved him so much I bought his dam it never crossed my mind until I seen them out together is it ok if they are pastured together?

he doesn't seem to try to nurse but he is following her around and he will not leave her side he had been really close with one of my geldings but not anymore and she is very protective of her colt which I figured after she settled it it would get better. I do plan on getting him gelded this week so he doesn't breed her as I've heard that he can breed at that age but I've never had to worry about it as I don't have mares. this is my first time dealing with a mare and colt and just want to make sure its ok to keep them together

I just got a 12 yr old barrel mare I don't know what she was trained in but last year they ran her in a BS Snaffle Double Rein Bit and she kept running into barrels go figure right? anyway normally I run my horses in a snaffle wonder bit but i'm not exactly sure if it will work on her so i'm wondering what other kind of bit to try on her ? I was thinking about trying a sweet six bit what are your thought on them?

He is a Dunn with a huge white blanket and is 15.3 and 1200lbs so he's pretty big, I have to come up with 5 names for the application so far I've came up with Cuttn Up Rebel Style, Kickn Up Rebel Style, and Built Rebel Tuff

I'm wanting to keep his name in it which is Rebel and he's gonna make a barrel or roping horse so would like his name to be related to that but doesn't have to be.

Second one is a 7 yr old welsh cross mare she is a buckskin but almost whit cuz she has her winter coat but has the black mane and tail with 2 black stockings. She's timid but is sweet was thinking about naming her Country but not 100% on that

So I'm getting my qh registered his sire is high brow in trouble and his dam is kbs doc peppy. He is all cow bred he has high brow hickory , doc bar, three bars, poco Buenos, peppy San, doc o Lena in his bloodlines. Please try to keep the name around his bloodlines this is my first horse I've gotten to choose its name. It has to be 20 letters including spaces. Thanks and no rude answers. His barn name is Copperhead doesn't matter if that's in the name

He is a very laid back kinda boy but he has speed he will keep up with my qh at a run with no problem.
