  • Carbo loading for football games?

I play hs football (American football). I ve noticed during games that I get extremely tired/out of breath if I m on the field while we re punting, chase down the tackle, then stay on the field for defense. Could carbo loading for a couple days before the game help me with this? If not, is there anything else I can do to help? Drinking extra water, vitamin d, biotin, idk? Thanks

  • Whos a better storyteller J.Cole or Kendrick?

J Cole gets a lot of credit for Wet Dreamz and a lot of songs on Forest Hills Drive but Kendrick has songs like keishas song, black boy fly, the art of peer pressure. My friends and I often argue about this so I wanted to get some other input.

  • Theories on the basis of conciousness?

Like many an atheist I've always wondered what makes up our conciousness. The idea of a soul or that our conciousness is entirely made up of electrical impulses and signals just dont seem plausible enough and they seem to be missing a big part of the overall picture. How would electricity, the same kind that powers a lightbulb, make me feel like me and sense everything that i do. Ive also heard theories that conciousness is made up of neurophotons, or light, but i was curious as to any other theories that you guys know of that sound plausible. We may never actually discover the basis of conciousness but its worth pondering.

  • Need help analyzing a song for a project?

So im doing a project for music where i can pick out any (appropriate) song and analyze it. I need to point out all of these aspects listed below. Problem is I have no idea how to do it. Can you guys just pick any song where you can label those aspects and tell me the song and those aspects of the song? thanks.

These are the things i need to point out

-Rhythmic Components - What type of meter? Is it a more regular rhythm or syncopated?

-Melodic Components (Range, Contour, Type of Movement)

-Harmonic Texture (Monophonic, Polyphonic, Homophonic, Heterophonic)

    -Instrumentation

Thanks a lot guys if you help me out, this would be a life saver for me.

You guys heard any good dubstep lately? Tell me about them. They don't have to be mainstream pure dubstep songs btw, i also like those dubstep remixes of other songs on youtube. Thanks.

  • Why is Common so underrated?

Honestly i find him so deep and lyrical and just an overall rap genius, and i automatically put him in my top 5 whenever somebody asks me. But nobody else even puts him in their top ten, or even find him relevant when considering that list. When you listen to his songs like "the people", "be",

"Testify", "come close to me", etc. you'd find that hes ten times better than a lot of so called "top ten rappers" like andre 3000, kendrick lamar, big l, etc. I find him on the same level as Eminem and Nas and Biggie. Does anybody else feel the same way about him or any other rappers?

  • Why don't linemen get any recognition?

I honestly find it annoying as **** when i make an amazing block and open up a humongous gap for the fullback, but everybody in the stands, the team, and even my own coach will just give him the credit for those few yards for the first down. Honestly, the only time i even get some recognition is when i make a sack, but not close to as much as backs do. But if our qb gets sacked, of course the linemen will get blamed for that. Honestly linemen have one of the hardest positions on the team, you have to be literally 2-3 times as strong as all the other positions on the team, and its way harder to block other 6'2 250 lb linemen than it is to throw a football. Its even worse when the backs try to gloat about their stats to you, even though I'll lay them out any day. Does anybody else feel this way?

    Its so not fair.

  • How to get my coach to give me the position I want?

I'm playing football this year and i want to be fullback and lineback. Our first game is in 5 days and nobody has their positions yet, but everytime we practice plays, he puts me as lineman. He told us not to ask him for all the glory positions because not everybody's gonna get them, and i dont want to seem like a big mouth. But i want to show him that I'm a powerful skill player but i don't seem to have any opportunities to show him my prowess as a fullback. Any advice? Thanks.

  • Was Kendrick dissing all those rappers im "Control"?

At first it seems like he was dissing drake and j cole and meek mill and them, what with the "im tryna murder you ******, tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you ******, they dont wanna hear not one more verb nor noun from you ******". But he also says "Im usually homebodys with the ****** im rhyming with" and "I got love for yall but..." which makes me think that he wasnt dissing them. Also, Big Seans name was mentioned along with the rest of the rappers in Kendricks verse, and if Kendrick was really dissing him, why would Big Sean let him get on his song in the first place and why would he release the song? Just wondering, what do you guys think?

  • How can the Universe be infinite?

The Big Bang theory states that the universe started from a finite point. So how could it be infinitely large. I know its not infinitely old, only 13.7 billion years. It's also not expanding at an infinite rate. Could somebody explain this paradox to me?

  • What breed of dog should I get?

So I don't really know that many dog breeds and a lot of the websites I've looked at don't really show me what im looking for (puppyfinder, mydogsbreed, etc), so I was wondering if you guys know what breed of dog i should get that fits my criteria. So i want a huge (the bigger the better, no limits) dog. I don't want an extra skinny and lean one like a great dane, though. I want it to be friendly and really really furry. I've seen dogs like this once or twice before but I never had the chance to ask for the breed. Thanks guys.

  • What phone could I get?

I'm 14 with no job and very limited funds, plus my mom won't pay for my new phone because this is my 4th one to break/lose in the past year. So I was wondering what kind of phone i could get for like 150 tops? Maybe a tiny bit more. It doesn't have to be an amazing phone, just compatible with like snapchat, oovoo, and skype, thats all I need. Thanks.

  • Thoughts on Magna Carta Holy Grail?

Oh my ******* gosh this album sucked. With a name like Magna Carta Holy Grail, and all the hype surrounding it, I was expecting it to be another Black Album or Blueprint 2. Although I was being extremely biased towards it because I love Jay Z's music, its inarguable, this is one of the worst albums I've ever heard. I can't name a single song on it that I would ever want to listen to more than once. I'm just praying that Eminem's album in the fall will be good. Anyways, what do you guys think about MCHG? Do you think it was actually good or am I not the only one that thinks this album is a piece of trash? Thanks.
