There's this thing at my school were the entire junior class gets to spend the night at school playing games, singing karaoke, watching movies,hanging out with their friends, etc. Some teachers and the principal will be supervising us and I told my dad that but he still won't let me go. He's too overprotective and thinks that something bad is gonna happen to me but it's not fair how others can go and I can't . How can I convince him to let me go?

my hair has been blonde since I bleached it 7 months ago and I wanna go back to black. If I dye it black, do I need to dye it once or twice? Ive seen people use black hair dye on their blonde hair and it turned brown, thats why im asking this question btw.

My doctor recommended me to get on a low carb diet yet didnt give me a certain number of carbs to stay under every day. I started out with 50-100 carbs a day but now I'm starting to realize that fruits and other healthy stuff can be quite high in carbs. So do you think that eating 150 carbs will make me gain weight? Should I also be counting the carbs I eat in fruit? Any experiences with this type of diet?

I am a femme lesbian and I'm very open about it. Well the military ball for jrotc is coming up pretty soon and I couldn't find another girl to go with, so my guy friend asked me to go. I'm very excited because it's my first dance that I have a date and I made it clear to my friend that we are going only as friends and nothing more. It's his senior year so I want him to remember his last military ball as something special. I don't think anything is wrong with it but I'm receiving a ton of backlash from the lgbt people and other straight people for this. They say I'm a fake and that I pretended to be gay for attention and this really upsets me. So in your opinion, is it weird for my military ball date to be a guy if I'm a lesbian even though we're only going as friends? Has anyone else been in a similar position?

I'm 15 and will turn 16 in 6 months. I also live in Texas. Let me start off by saying that I love my dad more than anything but I can't stand another day with my dad. My half brother lives with us (hes my moms son, not my dads) and I don't feel safe around him. He hits me pretty badly and we argue a lot. He also turns 18 in 5 months. My dad knows about it but he's too nice to do anything about it. He will not stand up to him and I have to suffer. I also hate my school. However, he will not let me move in with my mom. My mom said she's willing take me in too. What are the odds that I can convince my dad to let me leave? Can I take legal action?

So the program is rotary and I really want to be an exchange student. I live in america btw. I'm currently a sophmore and want to go study abroad my junior year more than anything, but my dad said it most likely won't happen. It won't happen due to money issues and the fact that I'll still be too "immature" when I'm a junior. However, he said he'll consider letting me do it my senior year. I want to go my junior year but if my senior year is my only option then I'll take it. So how do you feel about going my senior year? The only bad things I can think of is missing my prom and senior ditch days and late arrivals. Do you think it is better to go as a senior ? Any opinions and expiriences are appreciated!

I'm a sophomore and I took my psat today. I was feeling pretty confident about the test until I noticed there was about 40 blank answers when I added up all sections. Before the test ended, I went back and randomly bubbled in all 40 so I would at least have an answer. I didn't know that it was better to leave it blank until after the test was over, none of my teachers told me. At this point I know my stupid mistake will make me have a really low score. Does this bad psat score count against me at all when I'm a junior, senior, or trying to apply to college?

I've always heard that people can be born gay, but I always felt like people just realized what they like at a young age. I've also heard that people should absolutely 100% know their sexuality without questioning it..

Well I knew I liked girls since I had a crush on my female friend in the 3rd grade. I also liked boys too. Now I'm 15 and have had little crushes on boys (or at least thought i did) and a boyfriend (nothing serious) but my interest has always been in girls. Most people know me for being a lesbian (and no I don't look like a dude). Lately though I've started thinking about boys more often and getting more attention from them. I've also considered experimenting. Overall I'm just really confused. I know most people would say that I am bisexual after reading this but it feels more complicated than that. Long story short, should I just tell everyone I'm bisexual already or should I just not put a label on my sexuality (i think i change my mind too much btw)? Also How do you think people who know I'm a lesbian are gonna react if I say I like boys too?

I can't keep this dog because I already have 2 chihuahuas, but I noticed a dog that I'm assuming is stray because he has been outside all day for 3 days straight. I feel bad because he's by himself alone all the time. My dad doesnt want me feeding him, so I've snuck the dog some dog food and water when my dad isn't nearby. Should I continue feeding the dog? Should I call a dog shelter yet or wait to see if the dog has an owner?

Lately I've been feeling extremely unimportant and upset over things I shouldn't be so upset about. I'm a sophmore in high school and this is the first year that I've had a lot of friends.

When I was in middle school everyone had phones, where allowed to spend the night at their friends house, where allowed to go out and have fun, where allowed to date etc. but my parents never let me do anything... everyone has their memories to tell except for me. My only fun times where with family and I feel like such a loser. My parents tell me I'm overreacting but they don't understand. My freshman year I spent it isolated because I was used to being like that in middle school. Now I'm a sophomore with a good amount of friends and still not allowed to go out. I feel like by the time I'm out of high school it's gonna hit me that I had no fun high school memories and expiriences and it's going to affect me. Anyone know how I can get over this?

I have joined JROTC and dance 2 in high school and I get really good workouts in those classes. The only problem is that my face turns bright like a tomato and it's it's so embarrassing.. everyone stares and asks if I'm okay and it makes me want to hide because it doesn't go away for 30 min - 1 hour. Does anyone know how to prevent or fix this?

Here's some extra information that might help : I'm overweight and have never workout out this much, my face has always turned red, even through light workouts, I have asthma, etc.
