Why is my son's ER visit so much even with insurance?
BSBC of Texas. He was at his normal pediatrician for labored breathing and was sent to the ER. Stayed 4 hours and was released. I was made to sign a paper and made to pay a $600 bill before being allowed to leave. That is almost the same amount I pay a month for the insurance itself. He had a breathing treatment done and was given some juice and crackers. The bill wasn't even itemized. Do I just have crappy insurance or is something wrong? I feel ripped-off.

My Dentist is billing for D2950 CORE BUILDUP INCLUDING PINS on a tooth that I did not have a root canal or a crown done on. A filling was done on this tooth on a previous claim.
