I really want to know if this is possible without modding my PS2... I don't really have the time, energy or money to mod my system when my memory card is in perfect shape except for that blasted corrupt data on it. It first appeared when I started up Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks on New Year's Eve... It kept saying the data was corrupt and I checked the MC multiple times and the data seemed normal... until I tried to delete it. After that, it began showing up as "Corrupted Data." It will not let me do anything with the data, nor will it let me use my backup MK:SM data on that card. Please, I need to know if there is an inexpensive or otherwise "household materials" way to reformat my card. All of my other data is backed up via my PS2 HDD.
