  • How do I make my router broadcast WIFI?

I am working with a Netgear CG814GCMR router that has given me WIFI on my iMac for years. Today, for some reason, all settings were reset and I need to connect via the ethernet ports on the back. I can see the SSID for my router in my wireless browsing list, but whenever I connect to the router JUST through wifi, the upstream light fails to come on; it only comes on when the ethernet is connected. Some websites claim this is a firmware glitch that has corrupted the onboard router software, but I cannot find my CD or a website that has the right firmware update. Some people say I should contact my ISP, but they'll tell me it's a router issue, since I can still get internet.

Help! I want my wifi back!

  • What are the words sung in John Adams' "Grand Pianola Music"?

I have heard that the chorus sings some text in the third movement, but I have never heard what this text was, and I can't make it out in the recording I have.

    Thanks!

  • Where is an OFFICIAL list of public domain poems/poets?

There's a lot of "know-it-alls" on the web and I was wondering if someone had a real, legal list. Not a "gee it's popular so it must be copyright-free" list, but a real list of poets and poems that can be used. Thanks!

  • Do I need to have specific software to use the Studio MovieBoard?

Do you need special software to capture video from VHS via the Pinnacle Studio's MovieBoard? And if you do, is the software free or is it pay only? I am thinking about buying a Studio MovieBoard, but it's just the card, and I'm wondering if I'd get stuck with a useless card if it takes specific software to work it. Thanks!

  • What do the levels of a college orchestra represent?

I have seen levels used to describe college orchestral scores. What determines the level of a score? Does anyone know a good website that has guidelines of what each level requires? I figure it has to do with instrument ranges used, tempi, speed of notes, technical difficulty, etc. but any information would be appreciated. If someone has a website with examples of different scores at different levels, that would also be appreciated.

Please DO NOT tell me to go to my local library/school music library. Also DO NOT tell me to do a web search. If my web search had been successful, I would not be posting here :). Be specific with your answer, please :).

  • Who watched the Watchmen?

So, I just have a quick survey/question for those who have seen the film. Did you like the movie, and did you read the graphic novel before you saw the movie? Thanks.

    P.S. I couldn't resist the pun.

  • The name and artist of a music video?

Hey, I saw this video on VH1 one time, and I can't remember any names, either of the song or the artist. The video was all one take, with no cuts. The artist was a woman, possibly english. The video featured people dancing, I think in a circle.

I remember thinking how interesting it was to see a music video without a cut, because most times there's 15 or more cuts in the first minute of a music video! Hey, any info that you could tell me would be great.
