  • I just found out I'm having twins...what do I need to prepare?

I found out Wednesday that I'm having twins (yay!) I'm both excited and scared about the whole thing. Is there anything I need special for twins as opposed to one baby? I mean, besides two of everything, lol. Oh and I already have a tandem stroller on order so I know that one too. Thank you!

  • Potty training...I need advice...please help?!?

My son is 3 and will be 4 in March. He doesn't tell us (my boyfriend and I) when he has to potty. Instead he goes in his pull-up and when we ask him if he has to go he realizes he's wet and says yes. How do we get him to tell us on his own BEFORE he wets in his pull-up? I need help because he is so stubborn. So far bribing him popsicles works about 30 percent of the time. Any other suggestions?

  • I need help picking out baby names...any suggestions?

I like Addison Page or Emerson Nicole for a girl.

And Kalen (not Kae-len) for a boy but I'm kinda stuck on boys names. Any suggestions?

  • I'm about 8 weeks pregnant...what are some signs of twins?

I am about 8 weeks pregnant. I haven't been to the doctor yet because I'm waiting for my insurance to be approved. I had to go the hospital because I have been cramping really bad. The doctor did an HCG blood test and the levels were right where they should be. And I wasn't bleeding so they said I wasn't having a miscarriage. I read online that cramping can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy, but it also said I would be bleeding and that my HCG levels wouldn't be at a normal level. A friend of mine said she cramped all the time when she was pregnant with her twins. If anyone has had twins out there did you cramp? What are the signs and symptoms? I also have to pee what seems to be a lot more than I did with my first child. Like every half hour to an hour or so. Thanks in advance for the insight. Happy Holidays!

  • Insomnia, does anyone know how to cure it?

I haven't been able to sleep lately. It should be the easiest thing in the world, but it's not. And, when I am lucky enough to finally drop off, I sleep fitfully. It's like I'm on spin cycle. I've tried OTC sleep aids, but all they do is make me even more drowsy in the morning. I don't have heatlh insurance so going to the doctor is pretty much out of the question. Does anyone have any home remedies? And please don't say alcohol or drugs or something lame like that. Thank you!

  • What's the title of this movie?

I'm trying to remember a movie that has the quote "I would give my hands for you" or something to that effect. It's a female drummer talking to her male love interest. I think it was made in the 80s and has Eric Stoltz in it. Does anyone know? Thanks.

  • They approved gay marriage in California, what are your opinions?

I personally don't care either way. I'm not gay and I don't live in California so it doesn't effect me. I just think it's interesting. It's a history making decision and I'd love to hear your opinions on it. And, if you're going to write something about religion I know all about that. I don't want to know how wrong it is, I want to hear what people think as far as how it will effect future rulings on it and history in general. Thanks.

  • I keep dreaming about tornadoes...what does that mean?

Almost every night I have a dream about tornadoes. It bothers me because they seem so real. I'll be driving along and one comes out of nowhere and I have no place to go. Or, I'll have my kid with me and we'll be running from one. It's just crazy. And it's an every night thing! If anyone knows how to take control of my dreams so I stop dreaming about them, that would be great, too. Thanks!

  • Does anyone else not want to vote because the choice of candidates is unappealing?

My boyfriend and I both plan on not voting this year because we are both dissatisified on who is running for the office of president. I don't like Obama or Clinton or McCain. Does anyone else feel that there have to be other people out there more qualified to run for president? And it's not about race or gender. Obama is a very well spoken man, I just don't agree with a lot of his ideals. I don't like Hilary at all. McCain is just plain too old.

  • I hate to be redundant, but I keep having pregnancy symptoms but no positive hpts?

I started my period in the middle of last month on the 16th. It only lasted for 3 days, which is not normal for me. Mine usually last at least 5 days, if not the full 7. I didn't think anything of it until my breasts were still sore even after I had my period. I have started to gain weight in my abdomen and nowhere else, I'm tired all the time (but I'm also anemic). I have taken every hpt out there, First Response, Clear Blue, Answer, the generic ones, even a Dollar Tree one. They have all came back negative. I waited two weeks and tested again today, and it was still negative. My question is, is it possible to have not gotten all of my period out of my system? Are all these symptoms just an influx of estrogen or some other hormone? I have a two year old so I know what pregnancy symptoms feel like, and these feel like them. So, if I'm not, then what is it?

  • My hair has been super dry lately...any beauty tips?

So, lately because of the cold weather my hair has been super dry and dull. It feels really brittle. Does anyone know of any good hair products that will give it some shine and make it appear healthier? I've been thinking about getting what is known as a malibu treatment as well. Do they work? Thanks in advance.

  • My boyfriend is really into music, what do I get him for Christmas?

My boyfriend is a huge music buff. He's met a lot of famous bands and he likes some pretty obscure ones. He loves to go to concerts but the problem is that I have no clue where to find a site that caters to gift certificates for obscure bands. Ticketmaster doesn't cut it because they don't even have half of the bands on there that he likes right now. Some of the bands that he's into are: Flogging Molly, Against Me, Dropkick Murphys, Tegan and Sarah, etc. The reason I don't want to buy tickets for him right out for any one of these bands is because I want him to be able to pick which concert he wants to go to.

Any ideas would much appreciated! Thanks!

  • Coraline human, how is it possible?

I really like the TV series Moonlight. I wonder if anyone has any ideas as to how Coraline could have possibly made herself human again? It's killing me not knowing, and I hope the next episode reveals how she did it. By the way, this question is just for fun, obviously there is no real right answer.

  • I have a kid and he doesn't, why is this a problem?

I've been dating this guy for some time now. He is the youngest in his family of 5 boys. He is the baby of the family and has no children of his own. I have a son that is almost two years old. They get along great. His parents happened to ask about me, I guess, and he told them I have a kid. His mom freaked out. Is it normal for parents to be so judgemental? They haven't even met me and yet they don't like me just because I have a son. Should I worry about meeting them when the time comes? And if so, how do I win them over enough to where they get past the fact that I have a child?

  • Is Stardust worth going to the theaters to see?

I'm a single mom, so I don't have a lot of time to go to the theater anymore. The nearest one is a half hour away, and money is usually tight. Basically, I just want to know if it's worth my time and money to go see it. I don't want a plot synopsis or any spoilers. Please and thank you.

  • Has anyone read the book Return to Labyrinth?

I just found it on eBay and bought it. I'm a huge Labyrinth fan. It's been my favorite movie since I was two. Even though it's a sequel to a movie and it's in book form, I thought I'd post the question in the book section. I didn't even know this book existed til last night. I'm so excited! I've read fanfiction and things of that nature, but I didn't know that they had actually published a sequel.

  • Does anyone remember this movie?

It aired on the Disney channel (I think). It was years ago, so I think it's kinda old. It was about these kids that took their mom for granted and wished for a new one. So they were granted a trip to a place where they could "shop" for a new mom. Basically, they realized at the end that no mom, no matter how seemingly better than theirs, could top their own mother. The name of the movie is eluding me and I really wanted my mom to see it. Thanks in advance!

  • Is The Bridge to Terabithia kind of morbid for a kid's movie?

I read the book, and I don't remember it being as sad as it was. I thought it was kind of morbid for a kid's movie. I thought there was going to more fantasy in it as well.
