Are there any good bands that sound similar to Katatonia, Dredg, and Ghost Brigade?

Okay, there’s this girl that was in my class last year. I noticed that she would always stare at me out of the corner of my eye, but whenever I turned to look she would quickly turn and pretend to stare out the window. I also noticed that whenever she talked with her friends during that period, they would all look at me and giggle. When the year was almost over, we had to do a project in groups of 4. I was with 3 of my other friends, and she was with her 3 other friends. When we got together, our teacher moved one of my friends to another group thinking he would cause trouble. So, once she noticed that we had 3 people, she asked if she could take his place. When we were working on the project, she would only talk to me and pretty much avoid my other 2 friends. A few weeks later, we became friends, but we never hung out after school, and I never got her number. I also don’t have a Facebook, so I couldn’t talk to her on there either.

After that, summer came. During the first day of school this year, I noticed that she was in my last period class. She looked pretty depressed, so I was going to ask her what was wrong. Before she noticed me, the teacher moved me to the very back of the room and moved her to the very front. I also had a pretty big guy in front of me, so I was pretty much blocked from the rest of the class. A few days later, we had our first fire drill. On the way outside, I went up to her to say hi. Then, she looked really surprised and couldn't believe that I was in the class. The next day, I noticed that she kept looking towards the back of the room again, and I feel like I'm back where I was last year.

So, do you think she likes me, even though it's pretty obvious? I don't think she knows that I have a girlfriend, so what do I do about that? It seems like she's really into me.

Has anybody heard of the band Mainstream Scare? My friend said he loves the band and told be that they reminded him of Asking Alexandria, War Of Ages, Bring Me The Horizon, and A Day To Remember. I know that's metalcore and screamo, but do you think this band sounds anything like them?
