It's for the postal service, and it's been a week now since I sent off for all my pre-screening. Does the government squeaky wheel really take several weeks?

I put in the application online on 10/23/2014, took the test and whatnot, got put on the Hiring List thing, got an interview on 11/24/2014, and then a few days ago (12/11/2014) got an email to do a drug screening at about 4pm, saying to respond immediately. My application on the website at the time under Process Step said Pre-Screening. So I went ahead and did all that, because I feared waiting too long would tell them I was uninterested in the position. Later that evening, I checked the website again, to see which office had contacted me. The application under Short Text now says "Not Selected", Process Step has a blank space, and it is driving me crazy. I don't see how they could have even evaluated the info I sent that quickly. Am I okay, or should I be worried?

I applied and "offered" $1000 thinking they would see my income and stuff, nope. It was denied. That was my last resort, what can I do to rebuild my credit?

The next two weeks are gonna be pretty rough on her emotionally, and she might not talk much. We are not dating but have had a few physical encounters, the most recent one being a few days ago. Is she trying to push me away or what?

Me and a girl I like have been talking for probably 2 months now and she has made a move on me i.e. she kissed me and said she liked me. We also cuddle every time we fall asleep together. Well, randomly one day this week she just stopped texting me. No big deal. But now it has reached the fourth day of one word answers to my texts. She says I didn't do anything wrong and that she does want to talk to me still. Any input?

So basically I got a little drunk last night and told this girl I have been hanging out with what was on my mind. By hanging out I mean in groups and at bed time she always grabs my hands/arms and falls asleep on me and cuddles. Last night she said she didn't want to be alone, and I said I wish I could be there but obviously couldn't drive. That was it cause I fell asleep.

It's a Dell Inspiron 570 preloaded with Windows 7. The network adapter section does not appear in the device manager any more, and when I try to install the driver for both it AND the chipset nothing at all happens. I can't connect to the Internet and the troubleshooter, of course, says I need to reinstall the driver for my network card, which doesn't seem to do anything. Any suggestions?

Is it possible for a girl, who always used to say she wanted a relationship instead of just hooking up, to now all of a sudden be kind of a slut?

She just started last week, and we seem to have really clicked. She seems to always want to come and talk to me and work beside me wherever we are in the store. However, I am moving 130 miles away on Saturday. That's not a big deal to me, but I just have no idea how to tell her that she's really cool and that I like her. I know, "what do I have to lose?" but I just can't think of how to make a move in this short time frame and what to do after Saturday. Any advice?

There's a girl that has just been hired at my workplace. I haven't gotten to talk to her a lot yet, but from just joking around a bit and picking on her a bit she seems really cool. What do I need to do to avoid the "friend zone"? I have never gotten this right, lol. Should I just straight up ask her what she's doing for the 4th or what?

My friend said she liked me and invited me to come see her. So I drove 600 miles to see her and the whole time she acted like I was in her way/didn't want me there, and never wanted to do anything because she "didn't know what we could possibly do"; and now she's "dating" someone that lives 400 miles away and keeps talking to me like everything is ok. She even had the nerve to ask if I was pissed at her because I deleted my Facebook when she announced her new "relationship" to the world.
