Why is your political party the best?
I'm honestly genuinely confused about a lot of the beliefs when it comes to each political party. Granted, Democrats are easier to understand than Republicans, but still. Both sides are confusing lol. So, explanations for each side would be welcome.
Also, just out of curiosity, why are so many people so stubborn when it comes to politics? And liable to kill other people before they accept that they're wrong? Idk.
4 AnswersPolitics1 month agoControversial question, why is it that both Democrats and Republicans suck?
American politics is screwed up. All the people in power seem to care more about staying in power than actually doing anything of importance. Due to the fact that Republicans and Democrats disagree about literally everything, not much seems to be done that actually benefits people. Granted, I'm fairly young (High School Age), so I'm relatively new to understanding how it all works, but it seems to me that the party system is ultimately screwing everything up. Both Democrats and Republicans are too stubborn and unwilling to change their viewpoints, and while they both say they want to help citizens, both of them have philosophies that could prove detrimental. Why is it that no one has been elected that has like, the best of Republican and Democratic ideologies? Cause it seems like the best stance would be somewhere in the middle.
11 AnswersPolitics2 months agoWhat do I do if I like someone, and they like me back, but I know that things won't work out?
Basically, there's this girl I've known for about 2 years now. She's my best friend, and I've come to care about her a lot. She's been dropping blatant hints at her liking me for some time, and I've been acting as if I don't notice them for two main reasons. She's dating a guy but they haven't talked in months, and it's a screwy situation there. The other reason is we both want different things out of life. I don't want to make her change her goals for me, and I don't want to change the goal I've had for over a decade now because she doesn't want that in life. It's just an overall crummy situation, and I don't really know what to do. Sorry for the stupidity here lol.
