Please read this little story and tell me how you rescued your dog.

I rescued a human today.Her eyes met mine as she walked down the corridor peering apprehensively into the kennels. I felt her need instantly and knew I had to help her.I wagged my tail, not too exuberantly, so she wouldn't be afraid.As she stopped at my kennel I blocked her view from a little accident I had in the back of my cage. I didn't want her to know that I hadn't been walked today.Sometimes the shelter keepers get too busy and I didn't want her to think poorly of. As she read my kennel card I hoped that she wouldn't feel sad about my past.I only have the future to look forward to and want to make a difference in someone's life.She got down on her knees and made little kissy sounds at me.I shoved my shoulder and side of my head up against the bars to comfort her.Gentle fingertips caressed my neck; she was desperate for companionship. A tear fell down her cheek and I raised my paw to assure her that all would be well. Soon my kennel door opened and her smile was so bright that I instantly jumped into her arms. I would promise to keep her safe.I would promise to always be by her side. I would promise to do everything I could to see that radiant smile and sparkle in her eyes. I was so fortunate that she came down my corridor. So many more are out there who haven't walked the corridors. So many more to be saved.At least I could save one. I rescued a human today.

I am making a calendar with pictures of New York City as a fundraiser for our church choir. We are going to sing in Carnegie Hall in June and are trying to raise funds. Does anyone know where I can get a good high resolution picture of Rockefeller Center at Christmas that I can download for free for this calendar?

Do you all think that the arguing that's been done between the Reps and Dems will get worse after the election? Do you think the win will be as clean as the media has been predicting or will McCain pull it off?

I would like to get an ITouch for my son for Xmas but won't since there are no parental controls on it. I would like to ask that you help me to get Apple to put controls on them for good parents who want to make sure their kids don't view sites that they shouldn't be viewing. I posted the question, "don't you think every Christian should see this" and it was a video on what Republicans believe in: Pro Life, Less government, etc. What's the deal?

I'm sure it has but I wanted to ask again. Do you think Colin Powell is voting for Obama because he's black? You wouldn't think he would be that shallow, would you. Obama's as far left as you can get. How can Colin Powell justify voting for him? He came up with a few reasons (excuses) but I think they're transparent. Do you think he's looking for a position with Obama?

I was at my friend's house this morning and her phone rang. When she checked the caller ID it said, "Arab League". I said, "You've got to answer it" because I was curious. She answered the phone and there was a recording saying, "Please call this number --------------we would like to discuss the election with you".

I don't want anyone being a smart alec telling me I'm trying to drum up trouble. This actually happened and I'm curious/concerned. Does it bother you? If not, why not?

My money's on the Republicans. But then again, we are already educated on where McCain stands.

What did Obama mean by that? Is this something we want to do? I don't think so. Some of us have gone to college, all the while working to pay for it. Now we should share with someone who doesn't even want to work? I'm all for helping people who help themselves but......I'm just saying.

When you type Obama/Biden, at first glance it looks like Osama Bin Laden. I'm just saying.

ACORN should be sued for every single fraudulent voters registration that is turned in. It is costing us money and taking precious time to check all of these out. Who is going to pay for that? WE ARE, that's who.

There is serious voter registration fraud in Illinois. About 50% of the ACORN registration forms are frauds. The intention was good but has gone all wrong. How do the Democrats feel about this? Embarrassed? Sad? ACORN thinks it's an attack on ACORN to discourage voters. What say you?
