Bob, Computer ADDICT.

I have a tip that i would like to send in to, lets say, msnbc or cnn. How do I anonymously tip them off? Where do i send the info (i prefer email)

I just unlocked the .50 call after a long stint with the R700 (3 head shots away from blue tiger camo) and i was wondering if i should switch over to the .50 or stay with the R700. They both do the same damage, but the R700 is more accurate, but the .50 has a faster fire rate. They reload about the same. what is your opinion?

I will be reinstalling linux shortly, but I would be interested to see what the consensis is about this. I was using GNOME, but it is mildly unstable (when running certain programs) on my mobo. Which do you think is better, KDE or GNOME?

I have recently wiped my hard drive. I was using a virtual disk to boot Ubuntu, but with a clean slate i created three partitions.

1: 74 GB = Windows & Accompanying data/programs

2: 5 GB = Ubuntu 8.05

3: 1 GB = Swap Space

Now, I formatted the second partition (even though it is smaller) as the root file system. I then Formated the first as NTFS and the third as Swap. I then installed ubuntu onto the second. It all worked, happy, etc.

Then I installed windows....

Windows boots fine, but i used to get an option (when I was using my virtual disk) to run either XP or Ubuntu. But now, it just goes straight to windows. When i go to the select OS screen manually, it only lists windows. I already rewrote my MBR, to no effect. Help!

I have a Zune 30 gb. It worked perfectly until a couple of days ago. It suddenly decided to stop synching with my PC. It connects to all of my other PC's fine, but the one where I sync my music from isn't working. When I plug it in, it makes that windows "connected", then immedietly after "disconnected' sound. I have no clue why. I restored it and everything. I even re installed the software. Anybody have a clue?

I have XP on my one and only partiton, and i want to install Ubuntu without deleting any of my files, and dual boot both os's. can i do this?

I am trying to install ubuntu onto my PC. Every time i try to resize my main HDD partiton, it says it cant do it, as it contains Windows OS files. Does anyone know of a free program to use in windows or from a live CD to partiton a drive
