What do you think now that the market is open in the U.S.

This morning I went to look at a AppxQh, 2 1/2 yrs. stud.

This is what the ad said " Leads, loads, picks up feet, and very calm. Must sell going over seas."

When I got there the man said it was his son's horse he brought it to him to keep and because he only had three weeks before he left. The man didn't know anything about the horse except what his son put in the ad and that he was firm on 2000 dollar price.

I looked at the horse and found it had aluminum racing plates on.

Why would an unbroken, not racing colt have racing plates on?

I found this very odd, I ve been around horses better than 45 years and have never seen this, any ideas.

The man said he would try to contact his son and call me.

Does anyone know of any working cow horse competitions coming to Texas, If so where and when thanks

Goats made a good showing.

Cattle down across the board, volume was very high.

Going to the auction in the mourning anybody want anything.

My neighbor said pens were full, prices were down.

I am looking for a Queen but everyone seems to be out. Ive been on the net but no luck. I'm in so. Texas any ideas will be great. I am just going with one box so one Queen please

Are there any beekeepers (honey) who have Queens. I need one and cant find any now I would like to get one in the next two weeks.

What I mean is the ones whats best for kids, my height, likes dogs ect.. the silly ?s. Im not talking about temperament a suitability for a job I mean the silly stuff.

What is it that makes so many people think that the breed of a horse has so much to do with gentleness or calmness or any of the other silly questions they ask about "What Breed" Is best for this or that.

I think I want to invest in penny stocks, but I don't know about wire fees, fed fees and that stuff. I see 3.95 trade fees and 50.00 fees why such a spread. Can I just go to a local broker and ask how all this works or is there a fee involved in asking, if so what is considered reasonable.

I used to ask my kids these what are your answers?

1. What color is a horse of a different color?

2. What do you call a three legged horse?

3. How many sea horses make a herd?

4. What do 4 quarter horses equal?

5. Can you milk a cow horse?

I am sure this has already been ask at sometime however, I am wanting to put solar panels on my home. I live on the coast in south Texas. What are some good units to look into. Installation is no problem son is a contractor. There are several DIY units. We have a small home around 1100 sq ft. Any suggestions, we have never looked into this sort of thing before. Really looking for answers from people who have a unit.

I am redoing an old Sears saddle and cant remember if it came with sheepskin or Indian blanket pad. I had sheepskin put on in the 70s but it seems like it had Indian blanket when I ordered it.

I live 4 blocks off the coast in south Texas thinking of Stuccoing my 1957 house. How does Stucco hold up in humid coastal conditions, mold, staining,and cracking are my concerns. Not that i dont trust contractors I just want other opinions.

If I take one pound of say paper then burn it then weigh it is the difference in weight what the smoke would weigh?

When you turn off a light switch does the power in the wire between the switch and light get used by the light bulb or does it just go away or what. A nine year old ask me and I really never thought about it and dont know.
