  • Why does my pelvis hurt?

I'm 15 years old and I haven't done any vigorous activity lately. My pelvis has been really sore, and it just keeps getting worse. The pain is below my belt, and it wraps around my hips. It feels like the pain is where my legs meet my hips and its all through my pelvis and hips, like the pain goes all the way through to the center of my bones. I'm 5' 6'' and I've thought that maybe the pain's just from having long legs, but I haven't seen anywhere that height causes pelvis pains. I am healthy, but my older brother has MS (multiple sclerosis) and I read somewhere that someone was tested for MS when they had hip pains. The pains always the same, no matter how im laying/ sitting/ standing, and no position makes the pain ease. It's a very annoying sensation and I don't want to go to the doctor unless it could actually be comething serious... can anyone help me?

  • Do I have a good case to be emancipated?

I'm 15, turning 16 in 4 months. I lived with my mom my whole life, we had a good relationship, but she has mental health problems. She got drunk one night and took a bunch of pills and became abusive, and she was arrested for child abuse. Now I have a court ordered restraining order on her, and I don't think the chances of that being lifted are good. I lived with my mom in Colorado, and when she went to jail I was sent to Virginia to live with my dad. My dad and I never had a good relationship. He is an alcoholic and he left my mom when I was one for another woman. My brother is three years older than me, and both my brother and my dad are abusive, sexually and violently. I don't want to report them because it would just cause more problems. I've lived with my dad for three weeks now, and he has not done anything to recognize my existence. I enrolled myself in school, none of my grades are below a B. I have completely been taking care of myself. I have a house and a job set up in Colorado, I just need to find my way back. I know as a fact I'll be able to support myself financially, but i have no way of proving it to the court, because I can't have a bank account since I'm a minor. Even when I was living with my mom, I was financially supporting us just as much as she was. she was just the one signing the papers. My only other options are to run away (which wouldn't work out), or stay with my dad until I am 18. I would rather be emancipated. I've been researching for three weeks now, I know the cons of being emancipated and they don't worry me. Every minor asking about emancipation has a different story. I'm ready to be responsible for myself because no one else is, and I want to be in control of my future. Please help!

I'm in the process of being emancipated, and i was just curious how many minors have succeeded/ failed.

  • How old do you have to be to be emancipated in Colorado?

I'm 15 years old and I'll be turning 16 in a few months. My mom was arrested the other day for child abuse and assault. She threw knives at our roommate when she was drunk because she just got angry. She put me in a a head lock and held her forearm against my neck as i was backed against the wall. No lives were taken but I don't want to take the chance of living with her. Automatically, I have a restraining order against her because she was arrested for child abuse, and that can't be lifted. My dad is an unfit parent and he is abusive and an alcoholic, and I would rather not live with him. As of now I am living on my own, I don't have a house, I go from place to place. I'm still attending highschool, and I have a job that I'm at whenever I don't have school. I want to be emancipated so I can be responsible for myself legally. I don't want to hear peoples opinions on if I should be emancipated or not, I want to know facts. Can anyone answer my question?
