  • What do you think about the Stallion Trike Motorcycle?

    I am thinking about buying one, but would like to hear from someone who has bought one or ridden it. I am planning a cross country trip next Spring and am considering this or a regular Trike. Which do you think would be best?

  • Has it started already? The double talk and back peddling?

    It seems the bad news is out according to an article posted on Yahoo news. Obama is already setting us up for the big letdown. Now that he won, he is changing his tune to Well, I don;t know if we can get this done now. It seems all his big promises will be just that words, just words, with no possibility of becoming actual facts. His newest statement is it will take longer than he thought. What do you think?

  • Has anyone else seen this about Joe Biden?

    I just got this and I'm still trying to get a link, so you guys be patient.

    Subject; JOE BIDEN WILL BE KICKED OUT

    > The "DEMS" know they're in big trouble since Sarah Palin and I've

    > heard,

    > from other sources, this is what they are planning to do about it. J.M.

    > ...from excellent sources within the DNC:

    > On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket,

    > citing

    > health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to

    > occur after the VP debate on 10/2.

    >

    > I have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the "health

    > problem"

    > cited in those articles was aneurysm. probably many of you have heard

    > the

    > same rumblings. However, at this point, with this inside info from the

    >

    > DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it

    > seems

    > that the best strategy is to get out in front of this obama maneuver,

    > spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand

    > manipulation

    > that it is.

  • What's this? Have you seen the choices in the YA dictionary?

    When you use Obama's name and the spell checker opens, it now gives us Osama as the 1st choice for the misspelling. How funny is that? Do you think YA knows something we don't? I notice this doesn't happen every time, but it is very strange.

  • O.K. Democrats, what happened? ?

    All this talk of doom and gloom for the economy is amounting to just a little bump. It seems the economy is rebounding and the new Great Depression will not occur. It seems that despite the hits to housing and gas the economy is actually getting stronger. So now what? If Obama can't beat us over the head with that stick, where do you go now?

  • Democrats for McCain, Did Hillary convince you to vote for Obama?

    I know she didn't say anything that would change my mind. But did she cause you to change yours? If so, what was it?

  • Who else finds this Hilarious?

    Which is more important Obama adds 7 states to get 57 or McCain doesn't know about 7 houses, condos, apts, whatever.

    To me it would be easier to lose track of how many properties one owns than to lose track of how many states there are.

    I find it ridiculous that the Obama camp wants to make a big deal out out how many houses McCain owns, but want to ignore the fact that Obama doesn't know how many states there are. Seems to me it would be more important to know how many states there are when one wants to be President of the United States. What do you think?

  • If Obama wants this to be about the issues Why is he backing down?

    Obama said he would welcome debates with McCain, now he is backing away from them. What is he afraid of? He claims he is about the issues, so if that's true why not debate McCain and prove his point. It seems to me he is avoiding a debate because he knows he would lose and be made to look as inept as he is.

  • Where is Obama's sense of humor?

    I notice that Obama can laugh when he or his supporters are making McCain jokes, such as old age, temper,or alleging he is a Bush clone.

    But now there are two ads making fun of Obama and OMG, he is all upset. It sure is funny how he changes his attitude when the joke is on him. If he can't take this now, how does he think he could survive in the White House. Every President makes blunders and the press is right on top of it. So maybe Obama needs to dust off his sense of humor. Don't you thnik?

  • Now that Iran has "test fired" missles, what should we do?

    Should we follow Sen.McCain's advise and put shields in place?

    Or should we send Sen. Obama over there to talk to them?

  • Can we agree on this explanation of Congress? Do you want this job?

    This is the best explanation of the duties and responsibilities of Congress that I have seen.

  • What are we to believe?

    Obama says his mother read to him from the Declaration of Indepence and explained how these words protected us. If we read the entire article in Parade, it would make her seem a wonderful patriot and American. But the truth is she was a practicing Marxist and an atheist.

    In "Dreams," he inadvertently sheds some light on his formative years and the political views of his mother, an anthropologist and Islamophile who hated America and subsequently goes native.

    So is he just saying what he thinks we want to hear? Because what he is saying is completely different from the reality of what he was taught at his mothers knee.

  • Do you think this lady was upset?

    Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one ticked off lady. My question is this: who would address the solutions to this lady's legitimate concerns. Obama or MCCain ? I realize that this is a rhetorical question. 'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ? And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was 'desecrated' when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all. I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden is caught and executed for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for chopping off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide . I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights. In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care. When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.. When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !! MY CONCERN: WE ARE AT WAR WITH IRAN...IN IRAQ...ON IRAN'S TERMS !!! THERE ISN'T ANYTHING FOR OBAMA TO MAGICALLY NEGOTIATE. IF A PSYCHO DEFECATES ON YOU, YOU DO NOT "NEGOTIATE" WITH HIM. YOU ANNIHILATE HIM. YET, WE NEGOTIATED WITH IRAN BEHIND THE SCENES FOR AL MOST 6 YEARS. IT'S TIME TO DRAW THE LINE AND TELL IRAN:(1) STOP YOUR WAR WITH US IN IRAQ AND (2) STOP YOUR NUKE DEVELOPMENT OR WE'LL START SMART-BOMBING YOUR INFRA-STRUCTURE BEGINING WITH THE NUKE FACILITIES. If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

  • Where do you think we are in this timeline? How Long Do we have?

    About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

    "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."

    "A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."

    ">From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

    "The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years"

    "During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

    1. from bondage to spiritual faith;

    2. from spiritual faith to great courage;

    3. from courage to liberty;

    4. from liberty to abundance;

    5. from abundance to complacency;

    6. from complacency to apathy;

    7. from apathy to dependence;

    8. from dependence back into bondage"
