Okay here is the story-

In the nineties, a couple was murdered in their bed. They lived in a city called Bridgeport (Help with a better name?)

Their son Aldwin, four at the time, found their bodies. It wasn't until two days later that a mailman noticed a disgusting smell from their mansion. Aldwin had been hiding in his room since he found the bodies, emotionally scarred.

In the actual crime scene, a pentagram was left on the wall above the bed. All the family's pictures were turned down, their faces pointing to the ground. And I haven't really figured out this part, but maybe the wife's baby was cut out of her stomach?(I need help with more details too)

Its twenty years later. The same town, the same sitch.

Random people keep showing up in houses, cut up and the crime scene is exactly the same.

Detective inspector Hayden Hill (Need help with his name) is on the case with his division.

Many signs point to Aldwin, but for some reason that cannot be it. There's someone else involved.

And that's all i've got.

I need a lot of help, obviously.

In a paper for school, I edited it and noticed I had a few sentences with the word 'was'.

Sentences like "The weather had descended below freezing, but there WAS no snow."

"It WAS okay, I reassured myself, I won’t turn back to that house."

"Say, didn’t I have a father there that WAS worried about me being missing for so long?"

How can I change those was verbs? What can I change them into?

I'm looking for creepy old nursery rhymes or poems. Nothing like Ring Around the Rosie or The Pied Piper or Mother Goose or anything, but old stuff like Schoolyard rhymes.

Maybe ones that were versions of creepy stories or something. Anything past the 80s.

I'm doing a school project on psychology and stuff, and need names of young or children serial killers.

Not killers who killed children, but children who killed people.
