  • Can someone explain how harmful it is to keep your 3 month old inside all day everyday?

    My sister had a kid 3 months ago and she won’t take him outside. Her and her boyfriend have always hid inside before she had my nephew and now they are continuing with their bad habit. I can’t stand to see this kid in the dark all day with them and I even offer to take him out on walks everyday but it’s either he’s sleeping or she’s about to feed him which is complete nonsense.

    Anyways can someone please back me up here. I really don’t know what to say to get it across to her. I’ll show her the answers. Thank you.

  • I’m not sure if I should attend college?

    I took a gap year last year and I realized college may not be the right move for me. I’ve become very interested in real estate investing and want to build my credit up while working a steady job for some years to eventually get approved for my first rental property. That all sounds nice but my parents aren’t really on board with the idea. They want me to go for the social aspect and I know that it’s just a waste of money. Every time I think about withdrawing I kind feel sad but I feel that it’s the right choice.

    So basically here’s the question

    Is it okay to go to college for the social aspect or is that all the wrong reason? Because I’m split on the decision and my parents said they would pay it off but if I drop out I’m going to feel guilty.

  • What can I do? I got caught with 352 grams of weed while driving?

    Okay so I was with one my friends and we wanted to smoke a little. We called this guy who sold me grams and went to go pick it up. When we got there I expected him to sell me the gram right there. But that wasn't the case. He got into the car and told me to drop him off at his friends house. So me not knowing that he had all of that sht in the car drove him home. We got pulled over for my break light. Also The cops arrested me and never read me my Miranda rights. I'm 17 years old but they did ask me where I got the weed from when we got in the police station which is a form of interrogation.

  • New to lifting?

    I have a couple questions. I'm a 16 year old male and right now I'm in the middle of my summer break. I figured now would be the perfect time to start lifting.

    My first question is can lifting stop me from growing? I'm 6'0 rn and my doctor told me I have at least 3 more inches to grow.

    My next question is how long will it take to see improvements? I'm 170 lbs. btw I'm a pretty strong guy for someone who doesn't lift occasionally. I consume a lot of protein and I am very athletic so that is why. Also I have lifted before obviously. I just never followed through. I've made several attempts to start lifting. I started with friends and also I played football for my school for one season and then I gave it up for basketball. So that being said I do have some muscle built already

    My last question is what should my schedule look like? I want to see big improvements and I plan on doing abs every other day. Should I be going to the gym everyday? Or like 3-4 or a week? If I were to go everyday I would be throwing basketball in on my schedule. If I were to do 3-4 a week i would stick to lifting and do basketball on off days

    I'm 6 feet tall and I'm 16. I weigh about 172. I go to the gym often for lifting and basketball. I want to get bigger before school starts. Right now it's summer break for me. I read articles and they say that I would be lucky to even gain a single pound of muscle in a month. Steroids would help me gain a hell of a lot more than that. I always do research on things like this and it says that steroids are safe if you do them correctly. I am not planning on abusing them. I have had thyroid issues in the past and I have ADHD. I take Vyvanse for it. Basically my question is, what kind should I take. And which is the safest. Also I am willing to try other methods first so if you know a safe way and healthier way to gain muscle fast please tell me.

  • How do you jump when you dunk?

    I m 16 and 5 11. I have really strong legs but can t dunk. I used to play basketball everyday for 4 years but now I have to deal with a couple issues. Starting to play everyday again though. Anyways, I am good at almost every sport I play. Nobody has been training me but myself. I don t know any textbook fundamentals I sort of make it up on my own and so far that has been successful. What I can t understand is why I can t dunk. I have touched rim before (Barely) but it doesn t make sense. My friends and I always are doing something athletic. Usually with them we play football. I m always RB, CB, punter, and kicker (we have a lot of kids and a big field so we do field goals too) everyone can agree I have the strongest legs out of our group. I can punt a football (using my own method) 50 yards and kick field goals 30 yards out. That is really good for me considering I do not play for the football team and probably could. This kid who I m friends with is a skinny frail bag of bone (not saying that to be mean) and he is 2 inches maybe 3 shorter than me, I have a lot more kicking power than him but some how he can now touch rim. Am I jumping wrong or something? What muscle would affect this the most? And are kicking muscles and jumping muscles different? Thank you

  • How do I start talking to my old friends again?

    my neighbor and I have been best friends up until high school. I sat with them at lunch 9th grade but stopped getting calls. I used to be overweight and I have been traumatized by humiliation. I used to get teased all the time. I started to play basketball everyday. I lost all my weight in 8th grade but I have been awkward around them because I was so self conscious. I'm in 10th now and I'm not awkward anymore. I've healed myself mentally and my personality is back. I literally just saw all of my old friends while I was outside playing football with my little brother. They said Hi and they always do but that's really it. I didn't care for a good amount of time I thought to myself "okay whatever if they are just gonna ditch me I don't care good for them. I don't need them or there ****. Screw them." Until my brother saw that I was angry. ( I was really angry not because they said hi and went inside, but because I wanted to punt the football and my brother was giving me ****) so my brother came and gave me a hug and was like "why don't they invite you anymore? Its okay you dont need them. I'm sorry." And that made me think for a while do now I'm kind of depressed again and am feeling sick. You might not understand how I am feeling. These guys were like brothers to me. We were all family friends. These guys are popular in my school. It sucks for me a lot. It feel like I was at the top but John Cena came out of nowhere and body slammed me.

  • What position should I play for basketball?

    I am currently a sophomore. I'm 16, I'm about 5'11. I'm one of the taller guys in my high school. A lot of the guys on my team are small. The coach likes to play me as big man but I don't practice to be a center or a power forward. I practice everyday and have been for the past four years, and what I practice the most is shooting, and dribbling. I am really good at shooting. I could probably shoot at a college level in practice. I used to not be able to handle pressure but I've changed mentally a lot so now I love pressure and have no problems with it. I can shoot and get points in anyway when they are needed. Defense is something I don't practice as often because I work alone. But I am just naturally good at defense. I get like 3 blocks per game. And I'm always getting over 10 rebounds per game. I'm not the best passer but I'm not bad either. I'm working on that. I was thinking maybe I am a shooting guard and I want to move to point guard by the time college comes so I can play a position more of my height range. What should I do.

    OK so I'm not sure why I have so much acne. I get a few pimples on my face and when they are gone more come. I get them on my back and stomach too. I take two showers a day. I am very clean.   • Why does everyone still think I'm fat?

    In 8th grade I was 5,8 180 lbs. I started taking vyvanse and lost 20 lbs over the summer of 8th grade. Most of it was muscle. I'm now 5'11 and 160 lbs and I gained A LOT of muscle. My body is different than most. By that I mean the form of my bones. My bones are really big and strong. I've never broken a bone and probably should have. My collar bone is very big. And all my bones are above average for someone my height. I am very athletic and I just started working on abs. If I flex you can see a six pack. I went to a doctor and he said that I have a very athletic body. I also don't feel pressure points. My muscle and bones are protecting them pretty well. I had a kid walk up to my in gym during school, he had in his mind that he was going to push down with his finger by my neck on my shoulder area and hit that pressure point. This was going on for five minutes as I stared him awkwardly in the eyes and then he says "wtf is wrong with your bones holy ****. Why is it so hard over your pressure point?" Anyways. I'm not fat anymore . my stomach is conpletley flat. Why do people not see it. I mean some do. When I go swimming with friends they are like "omg you lost so much weight... I can see your ribs" I personally think that its because I wear a lot of the same clothing because my family is struggling for money. Therefore I am limited on clothing. I'm 16, sophomore so now I can get a job. Should I try different clothing.

    I practice everyday and now that winter has come its hard to go outside because I get goosebumps. Its like torture. It feels like little sharp needles pricking me. I belong to a gym but its so far away and my parents can't bring me everyday. It wouldn't be fair of me to expect that. I could do ball handling in my basement but what about shooting. I have a really nice jump shot. I've been working everyday on it for four years. I can hit NBA 3s consistently now and I don't want to lose my stroke.

    I haven't studied in a long time. I'm in 10th grade and now I really want to get my sht together. I know I am capable of succeeding but I need to figure out how to do well on quizzes and tests. I have ADHD and I'm not in sped classes anymore so its hard to make an adjustment because of how thing worked in the cp classes. Last year I was a straight A student in math. This year I had a D+ for the first marking period. I'm in my second marking period now and my grades a 52. I have a test tomorrow and idk how to study for it. I'm thinking about just writing the formulas down on my arm or something. This question may seem stupid but its different for me. This is my first time in these classes. The only thing that is keeping my grade down is the tests and quizzes. Its so different and the way they review is just stupid. I had to teach myself almost everything since 8th grade. My entire school system is screwed up and the teachers are morons. They don't do their jobs. Some of them I wonder how they even graduated college. Anyways how do you study and does it work efficiently for you? This is just for math.
