Hoolis 2.0

There isn't enough time or room on this question to explain my situation. I sure wish there was. In short order, my sister is in her late 30's and has some serious deep-rooted mental problems that cause her to compulsively lie all the time, overstep her boundaries within my family (I am nearly 6 years younger than her, married with my own children), accuse everyone else of everything that has ever gone wrong in her life and cause problems with people out of spite when she feels like they have done her wrong. She has literally attempted to ruin a family in our community by accusing a man of infidelity just because she liked the man and he married another woman. She has never in her life apologized for anything she has done. And she has recently cut me, my family and our parents completely out of her life over the smallest disagreements.

How can I help her see that she has a problem and needs help if she is oblivious to the fact that she has a problem?

Everybody keeps saying he's obese and out of shape on here. He's obviously physically capable of playing professional baseball at the highest level. You don't go pro as a lump of fat. And he's obviously as strong as a bull to pitch as well as he does. I'm not even a Yankees fan. I'm a 100% Texas Rangers fan... tried and true. And I'm willing to admit that I wish C.C. played for the Rangers. But he doesn't. So I just have to respect his talent. I wish everybody else would do the same and lay off the guy. We all know you're just jealous.

I keep hearing everybody in the media calling the Tea-Party racists. I think the Tea-Party is trying to get back to our constitution and reduce the size of the government. And most importantly, put people back to work... PEOPLE... That means blacks, whites, hispanics, asians, etc.

I believe the Liberals call the Tea-Party racists because the Tea-Party wants black people (among all other races) to be out in the workforce, earning their way. I think the Liberals would rather hand out checks to black people, which sounds terribly racist to me. Do you Liberals really think that black people are incapable of working? So you MUST give them checks?

I'm as conservative as they come, and I give black people a lot more credit than that.

I'm in the market to get a 1991 Toyota Supra for my wife. Most cars I find are in need of engine work and other assorted 'under the hood' stuff. I don't know jack about foreign made cars. I'm wondering... I happen to have a Chevrolet 305 out of a 1986 Z28 Camaro in my shop that's just about ready to go. Since I'm an idiot on foreign cars and smaller engines (4-cylinders, small V6's), and I'm pretty knowlegible on American V8's (especially small block Chevrolet's)... How much of a pain in the @$$ would it be to drop my 305 into a 1991 Toyota Supra? Is it even possible without completely re-fabricating everything under the hood?

I was given an AKC registered Silver Lab yesterday. It will be an inside dog for the most part. Do they shed as bad as some other breeds do?

I don't care what for. I don't care what style. I don't care what platform. I just want to know what your overall favorite cartridge is. Any reason. Any cartridge. Mine's the good ole .30-30.

My wife wants a target rifle. I have searched Davidson's Gun Genie until my balls hurt looking for something that fits her exact specifications. She knows all about gun safety and is beyond proficient with any rimfire weapon she can get her hands on. It is now time for her to bump up to a centerfire rifle. This is her list of criteria.

- Must be a bolt-action.

- Must have stainless barrel/action

- Must have thumb-hole stock.

- Stock must be grey laminate.

- Caliber must be centerfire, but no heavier than .243. (IE: .220 Swift, .204 Ruger, .22-250, .223)

- Must be fairly light. (no heavier than 8 lbs. or so)

That's right. She's picky.

Come on YA folks. Give me some suggestions.

For instance: If the majority of voters knew the definitions and differences between 'liberal' and 'libertarian', do you think Conservative candidates would get more votes?

I have several bush/tree things at my house. I don't know what the hell they are exactly. But I do know that they are next to impossible to kill out. They have a short, stubby trunk like a shrub or bush, but the branches are long and put on a metric @$$ ton of long, skinny leaves. I've tried everything short of going and buying something to kill them. I've cut the branches off and spray painted them. I've cut the brances off and poured fresh, piping-hot bacon grease on them. They always come back with a vengance. I would burn them, but they're right up against my house. I'm half a mind to cut them out and pour old engine oil on them, but that's illegal. So what do I buy or concoct to kill these obnoxious things?
