We recently received a digital cable box, which we have since hooked up to our TV. However, that TV is also hooked up to our PVR. We have tried several things, but the PVR does not receive the raw signal from the cable anymore, and we cannot record anything.

Right now, the cable box is compiling all the cable channels we receive into one, which is our base channel (ch3). However, the PVR wants to work off its own channel set (e.g. ch35). This will result in getting no picture recorded. However, if we do change it to record ch3, it will also record any channel changes on the box. Essentially, it is only receiving a video signal from the box.

Is there any way for us to get the PVR to receive the full channel list, rather than just a video feed?

Right now, my mouse is automatically double-clicking (when I hold the button down, it automatically double-clicks instead of dragging). First of all:

- Has anybody had this problem before?

- If yes, has reinstalling the mouse driver fixed the problem?

- If yes, what driver did you download/install?

We currently have a network reconfigured due to our ISP "forgetting" to tell us our modem was about to expire. After installing our new modem:

Cable connects to modem

Modem connects to firewall

Firewall connects to switch

Switch connects to two computers: a Vista (which I'm writing this question on) and an old Win98-style computer

The Vista computer has no trouble seeing the network it's connected to, but the 98 can't find the rest of the stuff. It can connect and sends packets, but it doesn't receive any. After trying multiple solutions, I've pulled out much of my hair. Any ideas on why this happens/how to fix this?

I really like the song at the start and end of the Harry Potter audiobooks (and some others). Were those songs specifically created for the audiobooks, or did they exist before? If the latter, then where can I find (and listen or download) them?

Whenever I install the Zune software on my computer (most recent version), it coincides with our computer crashing. We have come up with a name for this event, the "Death Click", because the computer starts clicking in a unique pattern. I can't exactly say the pattern over the internet, but it is a couple of clicks, then two really loud ones.

Every time this happens, we start up the computer, and at the log-in screen, the computer starts the "death click". We are unable to access anything, so we have to completely reset the computer to the factory default.

Once or twice, a friend of ours has come over and tried to find the source of the problem, and gave us a couple of backups in case it happens again, but wasn't sure of what was happening.

Can anyone tell me what might be causing this to happen? I'm not sure whether it is a virus, a hardware malfunction, a software malfunction, etc.

Please note I am a relatively basic user.

This is a riddle I have been asked, and I have absolutely no idea what the trick is. For example:

This is similar to other "campfire" riddles, where if you don't know the rules, you can't understand the game.

Can anyone figure it out?

For some reason, my zune froze in the middle of listening to a song. The song still continued, though, and I can still select it again and listen to other things as well. How can I fix it? My warranty is still valid.
