Has America been taken advantage of by Haliburton?
Cont. From 1 st question. And if Haliburton is buying a new truck every time an oil filter clogs that qualifies. Who am I kidding, unless you work for Haliburton you dont support them in Iraq, NOT, doing what they have been paid billions to do. Haliburton workers stay in resorts far away from troops and do a shitty job. Defend their shitty job, someone that doesnt work for them.
5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhy is Haliburton given cost plus contracts in the Middle East?
These contracts are no bid. Haliburton recieves more profits for spending more. And thats it. Haliburtons tentacles are long agreed, but are they just flat out blowing tax payer money and doing a minimal amount of work(warfare)? If so, Why are they not in jail?
6 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhy do we use an electoral college?
I mean we count the popular vote don't we? More accurately the question should I why bother voting for president? New York, Texas, California, Florida..etc are the campaign states. Win those states win the election, but what about my vote? The can send around census workers but no vote takers hmmm....
9 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy does the federal reserve charge interest?
They charge interest and we have to pay the fed the yield on the treasury notes they received from US treasury in exchange for federal reserve notes. Seems like they have their cake and eat it too charging us at both ends for using their particular type of currency. How did this happen?
2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoIf the fed loans the US dollars in exchange for treasury notes, where does the interest money come from?
If the federal reserve is exchanging federal reserve notes(dollars) for US treasury notes, Do we pay the federal reserve interest? If so, please explain where this interest money comes from, it wasn't created in the initial exchange of reserve notes for treasury notes.
