I have been wanting to start doing commentaries on games, but have never really started to get started with it. However, now I've had the urge to start preparing to do one, and I have everything except a good mic. The one I have is only good for skype calling. When I record with it, it sounds robotic and weird. So, like the topic says, what would be a good mic for someone who's starting out like me?

I really don't want to be spending a whole lot on this mic; however, if it is necessary to go to $150, then that's fine.

Next week at my school, we are having a "spirit" week where we dress up as different things, according to each themed day. I am stumped on what to do for two of the days. First, Hollywood Day. I really don't want to go out and buy something, only to wear it for one day. The only limitations are no jeans (kind of stupid in my opinion), no masks or face paint.

For the second day it's What You Want to be When You Grow Up Day. I personally would like to be an author or computer graphics designer, but I don't know how to dress up as one. I guess it doesn't have to be exactly what I want to be, as long as I wouldn't mind being one.

In my book there is a main city that I have been wanting to build in Minecraft. The problem is, every time I start working on it I get frustrated because it doesn't seem like a good way to start it. The first few times I used MCEdit to make a platform to build on, but then realized that the city wouldn't be built on a platform, but would be built with the landscape.

So what do you think would be a good way to start it. Should I start with the walls, a church, the government building, or what?

My friend has been looking for a good computer to play Minecraft on. He wants to be able to play on "Far" and have very little to no lag.

What would be the best computer (or requirements) for playing Minecraft? He would like it under $700 as he doesn't have a lot of money.

I am looking for a good, cheap, reliable, great customer service, and easy to use professional hoster. I am starting a Let's Play and want a server where I can do one with me and my friends. I am going to have anywhere from 1-5 people on at once for the filming, but I want to, after the series is finished, make a public server on it.

Please tell me about any servers that meet these requirements that you or someone you know has used.

I can't Port Forward because my router doesn't work and Hamachi doesn't work for me either.

I want a group that is active and will critique my writing and other people's writings.

When I was playing on the launcher, it suddenly deleted the minecraft.exe completely and said that the security system was blocking a trojan horse. Then when I tried to re-download it, it still said that the minecraft.exe was a trojan horse for a virus or something. Is this just me and there's probably nothing to worry about, or what? Please help.

I am just about finished with my book but I can't figure out how to end it! I'm going to make a sequel for sure. The main characters are about to catch the criminal mastermind. They have the location but haven't gotten there yet. Should I have the man be gone when they get there, or should they capture him? Should I have him caught in the next one? Please tell me what you think would be best.

I am starting to make an app for Minecraft and would like an suggestions from you "Minecrafters" out there. I want to know what you guys would like in the app. Whether it's all of the controls, lists of mods and what they do, how to's, block lists, Youtube videos, etc.
