I'm feeling really stressed that my best friend is upset that I don't talk to her as often anymore. She moved far away two years ago and we've kept in contact but its been hard with everything else in my life going on.

I feel like she wants to drop our best friendship but we both value each other so much we don't want to, even if it will be for the best.

She thinks that me and our other best friend (who still lives in my area) put our boyfriends before her even though we barely see her physically because she lives so far away. I don't know what to do, how can I still be friends with her but not be expected to jump through hoops and ignore my boyfriend for texting her??

Think about it and please answer if I'm just being cynical or do I actually have some logic here..

Friends are great, they are there to provide you with comfort, company, self-esteem and happiness right? And best friends do all that but more, they provide you with entertainment, banter, loyalty and reliance. But lately due to problems with best friends is it really worth what those best friends also give you which is the feeling of inadequacy, self-reliance, the ability to become untrustworthy, pain and general feeling of being forgotten or left out..

Should you end a best friendship if you can no longer cope with feeling this way? I want to stay friends because I value them because of how they've been there for me and made me feel better about myself and generally helped me to be who I am today.

They say, would you rather die a hero or watch yourself become the villain? Think of that but in friendship, is this where its heading for me?

I've had my two best friends for 3-4 years and we used to be the three most closest friends you could come across. But during the second year one of my best friends moved far away so we had to rely on technology and visits to be able to keep in contact with her. It had been a year and things had turned out how I expected them to, she's more distant but once or twice a week I'll have a good long call with her about whats happening in our lives and general chit chat. I'm not so good with phone calls but I like having them with her since I don't see her much anymore. I'm still good friends with my other best friend but since we both got boyfriends we've distanced a bit. I'll admit we've distanced too much and we are currently trying to change that and its working for us since we're both understanding our situations.

But my distant best friend said today that she's "given up on me" as she feels like me and other have been forgetting about her and she feels like she has to make all the effort. I don't feel this way since I do try to keep in contact with her, granted not as much as maybe I should've but its been hard to when so much has been getting on top of me and its come as a bit of a shock. I've been having family health problems, I'm having an operation this week and my dog has cancer plus I have A-levels to revise for on top of this so I'm feeling really flooded...

She's saying that I put my boyfriend before her which is only true in the sense that he's physically here and I care for him in a completely different way but I don't know how to fix this. How can i show her I still care for her regardless of my relationship status or anything like that!? I don't want to lose her as my best friend but I also don't want to cause her any unhappiness if that's what being friends with me will create. I want to fix this but I don't know how!

ANY ADVICE WOULD REALLY HELP, I CANT LOSE EITHER FRIENDS OR MY BOYFRIEND?!

I've just watched a speech on youtube by barack obama about the tragedy of the elementary school shootings where children died and i couldnt help but notice how many negative comments there were about barack obama. Why dont Americans like him? I'm English so i'm on the outside view so i dont see what things he changes or does but i do watch his speeches and hear lots about him on the news. What has he done to receive all this hate? He seems lovely! I thought he was one of the best presidents America ever had but apparently he's not?

I dont understand, can someone please explain why some don't like him ? Aside from if they're racist :/

I would like to have a flat to six pack type of stomach. I'm naturally thin as im 16 and weigh 7 stone. My stomach is kinda flat but a little round and i would like it to be flat and almost six pack-y. I've started doing sit-ups 100 times every night but would this work ? And how long would i have to do this to begin noticing results ? :3

My family calls me anti-social because i stay in my room all night and barely ever come out but thats mostly because i'm online talking to people or communicating to my friends? Does this still make me anti-social ?

My nose has been broken for about 5 years, the doctors said that i need to wait until im the legal age to get a rhinoplastry (nose job basically) so that when my nose grows it wont grow out of shape. Its been 5 years and im 16 next year and only then will i be put on the waiting list but im finding it harder and harder to deal with as i got older. For the first 2 years no one could notice anything, not even a dent but as ive got older, its become more and more noticeable.

I've found its making me a bit depressed because when i was little i wanted to be a model but had to give it up because my broken nose got in the way and it knocked my confidence greatly. Lately ive been feeling really down about myself and for the last two years its hurt me most mentally. Ive not been able to do things that other people can do because of it and its stopped me from my original career ideas. I'll admit, I remember trying to force fix it straight myself and almost rebroke it myself but stopped because of the pain...

I dont want to sound shallow but its knocked my confidence so much i prefer to look like voldemort :3 People point it out and when i was little i would just burst out crying, yet now, i get really p!ssed and shout (i once slapped a kid for mentioning it) and im a pacifist...

Should i go to thailand and get it fixed early even though its unrecommended and will most likely go wrong ? It would be kinda illegal, very dangerous but im willing to do it :/

Ill be uber quick on this i promise :) Guy im good friends with really really likes me and has told everyone he does. BUT i dont like him like that but lately ive been confusing myself because hes just so nice. He's such a great guy but i dont feel attracted to him the way he does me, but ive found i look forward to our chats on facebook which go on for hours :/ I dont want to like him more than a friend and in person i dont, but on facebook its like hes a completely differnet person, one that if i let myself, i could possibly like. BUT im also kinda out of his league and i kinda half like someone else. I cant tell if i like him or are just getting his feelings mixed up its so confusing !! We're really good friends and hes quite a sensitive guy so i cant avoid him or stop being friends because im selfish and i dont want that. A few weeks ago when it first came out that he liked me, i was dead sure that i didnt like him, but during these weeks ive learned so much about him and its brought us closer, but i dont want it to. I want us to be just casual friends again, with no awkwardness that i feel. In our convos ive found i need to watch what i say so he doesnt get the wrong idea and in person i try and be as mutually friendly as possible... Friendzoning didnt work, neither did ignoring him as he just kept popping up to me and i felt bad, everyone has told him i dont feel the same way but hes not listening... He's occasionally on my thoughts but only because of how nice he is and that i feel bad that he likes me and i dont him....

Please help any ideas or advice or tips or even sarcasm would help greatly!! Im starting to feel really bad and its straining me!!!

Guy likes girl. They are pretty close but girl's best friend tells guy that she is not interested in him that way. Girl is still friendly and is willing to forget about it and begins to act normally again with him after a few weeks of a weird awkwardness around them. Things go back to normal but the Guy doesnt give up and keeps hinting at things and is trying to get the girl to like him again.

What can you do to stop him and why won't he give up on her ?? (okay the "her" is me :/ )

Basically, one of my best guy friends really likes me.. but i dont like him like that. He's told his friends (which are also mine) and he talks to me 24/7 ... he's even getting me a christmas present this year which is really sweet because at our school only girls get other girls prezzies unless theyre dating... We're pretty close and get on really well but i dont see him like that at all and im not physically attracted him. But because of how close we've gotten i keep considering dating him, but i know in my heart i shouldnt.

Then theres the guy i like :/ He's almost the opposite to the first guy but again we're friends and we hang out in the same group. I find this guy really cute and we get on pretty well.. I even confessed to my girl pals that i liked him but as soon as i did this he went weird. He got a bit quiet and we barely spoke for a few days. As you would, this made me think he wasnt interested so i quickly gave up and stopped myself from liking him. Then recently, a different guy friend was gossiping about the others and told me and my bestie that he said he would date either of us. So what is his deal ? (ps. we're talking again now more and hes acting normal again).

The problem is that for the first guy, i know i COULD like him if i let myself but ive put up a wall to try not to :( I dont wanna put down this wall because i know this sounds sooo horrible but im kinda out of his league and i dont think he would make good boyfriend material... What shall i do i feel terrible and ive already told the first guy that i dont like him like that but he said hes not gonna give up :/ I dont think the second guy knows i like him but i cant do anything about it with the first guy on my case.

I feel so bad about all of this and i have no idea what to do ??

I had a crush on this guy in my school but i was concentrating on being friends with him (i go by friends first approach every time :3 ) and just in between the week we barely saw each other, he got a girlfriend. Everyone in school has said how different they are and how you would never put them two together.

Girl is: Slaggy, sarcastic, funny, Indie and quite a nice girl but lately shes changed and has been "getting around a bit" IE: gone through three guys in about 2 weeks :/

Guy is: Really sweet, friendly, funny jazzy nice guy who never says anything horrible and is genuinely a nice person.

At first i tried to just get over it and forget about him until their relationship ends (if it does) but now he seems we have been chatting a bit more lately and i cant seem to turn off these feelings and i find myself beginning to flirt with him :/ I know its wrong of me and i dont do anything drastic and its mostlyt just friendly stuff but is it wrong to like them even though they have a girlfriend but not do anything until it ends ?

I know about how they study a certain group of animal and that they observe and study them ect. But how do they actually make their money? Do they have to write books or what i dont understand ?

The guy i like is one of those somehow popular but moody, antisocial guys. We are in the same group of friends and we get on well. But, as a person he is quite moody and a negative person. I've got his number and ive tried having convos with him over text but he's so antisocial during texting that most of the time after only a few texts he would just stop replying ? But thinking again he is also the sporty type who does quite a bit of exercise in his spare time.

I really like him but because out of school he is quite antisocial to me so i dont know how to get him to pay me more attention and to grab his interest ? Help s'il vous plait !! :D

I like this guy who i see every week day (sometimes weekend) and we get on and everything. It took me about 4 weeks to admit to my best friend that i liked him but now that she knows i feel that i cant flirt with him when they're around because i know they would mention it later and tease me. I love my bestie shes great but because of her presence, i feel watched when i try to talk to him or get friendly with him. This is also made worse as another one of my guy friends likes me (possibly love) and i dont feel the same way but they're like close buddies so i cant flirt when hes there either. i DONT KNOW WHEN I CAN and its really bugging me because he might start to lose interest if he feels im just being friendly.

Should i tell my bestie that ive lost interest so i can flirt with him again when shes around or just leave it and hope that the little time we're alone will be enough that he develops feelings for me too.

Im just a casual girl. Not a slag and i only put in so much effort with makeup, hair ect. I prefer guys to hang around with than girls as most girls in my school are pretty b!tchy and guys are more laid back. I do have two best friends that are girls but we hang around with a big group of guys. We're not slags, we're girly not tomboyish but we are just friends with guys.

If the guys know that im only interested in being friends with them than why do they always try and flirt with me and develop feelings toward me that are un-wanted. :/ This has happened many times with my guy pals and im getting sick of it! I dont do anything, dont give any special treatment and im just me but they always seem to come to me and try to date me...

Lets say, this geek has an amazing personality and most people who know him, think he's hilarious and just a great guy. But, he looks kinda geeky and you dont feel physically attracted to him? If this guy admited he loved you more than a friend to your bestie and you feel terrible because how intense he feels toward you. Would you date this guy ?
