Squeaky belt when air is on or after it rains?
I have a belt that is squeaky whenever I reverse with the air on, and sometimes when I start the car up after it rains. Any ideas on how hard this would be to fix? It is a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse.
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoSongs for Skiing Home Movies?
I have a client who has had me cut together about an hour and a half of skiing footage from a family vacation, and I want to incorporate some music to keep things flowing better (and to cut out the racket/whooshing from the wind). I know he likes upbeat, mellow music like Jack Johnson.
So here is my question: What are some good songs for a family skiing vacation? I don't want it to come off cheesy, so no classic Christmas/winter songs.
He comes in to view the rough draft next week and I would like to have a song list put together so he can get an idea of how nice it will be with a soundtrack. Any help is appreciated. :) THANKS!

1 AnswerOther - Music10 years agoSeat Recliner Mechanism for Eclipse?
Is there anywhere online where I can buy a passenger side seat recliner mechanism for my 2003 Eclipse Spyder? I am having a hard time tracking one down. Thanks!
PS I do not want to take it to the Mitsubishi dealer to have it replaced, because they charge almost $100, but I have sent them an email about buying the part, I just haven't heard back from them.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoTurn signal noise when signals are not on?
Last week I had a weird thing happen in my 2000 Chevy Malibu. I used the turn signal, and when it went off the noise kept going on. It was dark, so I was able to see that the lights on the outside of the car were not blinking anymore. Only the noise was still going on, and it was clicking much faster than normal. After about 30 seconds, the "door ajar" noise came on as well. This continued for about 2 minutes. After that for 2 days any time I used the turn signal it would continue to click for awhile, finally dying down to only one or two clicks after use. And now I haven't heard the extra clicking again, only the normal click when I am actually using the turn signals.
What was going on? lol

5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoCan you finance extra on a home to cover repairs/closing costs?
I am a first time home buyer. Say I find a $45,000 foreclosed home. Can I finance $55,000? Say I need to do some repairs or something. Or will the bank only lend me the exact amount of the house?
I am curious because I saw some people on other forums recommending that you try to get more to cover the closing costs, etc. Is this generally possible?
Serious answers only please. I'm sorry that I'm not an expert home buyer. ;)
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoBest Shade of Lipstick for Me?
I recently decided that I would like to start wearing some color on my lips, but I'm clueless as to what would look best. I have light or slightly tanned skin, dark hair, and blue eyes. I wear a lot of purple and black, so that is usually the color scheme for my eyeshadow as well.

4 AnswersMakeup1 decade agoGold blonde hair after bleaching?
I bleached my hair today and it's still a bit orange. I am wanting a golden blonde anyways, so it's not a huge deal. I am naturally dark blonde but have had brown hair dye in for 2 1/2 years. Previously I have bleached from dark brown to champagne blonde with no problems, and with three boxes of bleach. Today I only used one box, split over two sessions, and it is blonde at the top and darker as you reach the tips.
So my question is... with it having some orangey parts, can I use the gold blonde hair dye without having to bleach it anymore? Or will the gold do something weird to the orangey parts? Having some of it a little darker than other parts is not a huge deal. I just don't want to end up with funky dark orange or anything weird.
9 AnswersHair1 decade agoBasset Hound CLIMBS the fence! Best way to keep him in?
My basset hound climbs over our fence and runs away. What is the best containment for this nose-happy hound? We have lived here two years without him doing this, but one day he learned he could climb and I haven't been able to keep him in the yard since unless he is in a 10x10 kennel, and I don't want to leave him in there forever. Has anyone tried electric or invisible fences with this breed?
8 AnswersDogs1 decade agoBumped my Nipple Ring! Ow!?
I have had my nipple rings for over a month with zero problems. But about two and a half days ago I bumped into a cubicle corner and it is still sore! Has anyone else ever had this happen? I didn't bump it very hard, and god knows they've bumped into things before they were pierced. I am just getting worried here going on day three...
