  • A secure encryption algorithm?

    I need an encryption algorithm that is very strong and cannot be cracked (all attacks except brute force should not be applicable to it).

    I have come across Serpent with 256-bit keysize and I think it may be very secure. However, wherever I search, I only find programs which support AES (Rijndael) encryption.

    I do not want to use Rijndael because it has recently been found vulnerable to attack.

    Also, I have read that Serpent has more rounds compared to Rijndael and other algorithms. So I will probably go with the snake :) But I want to be sure.

    Is anyone knowledgeable in this field who can help me make the most secure choice? Is Serpent better than Rijndael in terms of security?

  • What's the strongest encryption algorithm available today?

    I need to know the most SECURE encryption algorithm and key size. Speed doesn't matter.

    Could you give me an example + a (free) program that can accomplish encryption/decryption with that algorithm?

    I have heard about Rijndael, but as far as I have read, it is technically not the most secure one available - just a balance between security and speed.

    Any ideas + programs? Thanks very much !

  • Not able to download files on DESKTOP?

    Every time I want to download a file and save it on Desktop (and subfolders in Desktop), the following message appears, regardless of what browser I use, after I click "Save":

    <Downloaded_file_name>

    The File name is not valid.

    --------------------------------------------

    This doesn't happen when I download the file on another drive, but it's quite annoying sometimes.

    Any ideas of how could I fix this problem? (besides reinstalling Windows)?

  • Do zoho mail accounts expire if not accessed regularly?

    I emailed zoho the same question and in response i received 2 emails. in one it was stated that my account will NEVER expire due to inactivity, while the other claimed that it WILL expire after a few months if not accessd. Now WTF? Now I'm even more confused. could anyone make this matter clear to me? Thx
