So my boyfriend is out of the country over the holidays. His family and my family both live by each other but I live hours away from them because of school. I thought that it would be nice for me to stop by casually and give them a holiday gift. Especially to his parents and his brother & sister in law. I know that it would mean a lot to my boyfriend if I did that. But, what should I get them? His parents have everything they could ever want. His brother has a new baby girl. Any gift ideas?

So all of the sudden my computer screen went black then a red box appears that says. DVI no Input Signal. I took out the DVI I put it back in. turned off the computer and then on again then it still does it???

So before my boyfriend and I were ever official. Like back around thanksgiving. I went on a date with another guy. He had been a guy that I'd had a crush on for a long time and I had the opportunity to go on a date with him. So I went. During the whole date I felt guilty. Even though I wasn't official with him. I think it was because I had been telling my future boyfriend how much I liked him but I went on this other date.

So back in january my boyfriend read my journal and he found out that I went on this other date. He was hurt I explained how it was before we were together and I was sorry I shouldn't have said I liked him at the same time that I went on this other date. I told him that nothing happened. really nothing did no kiss or anything.

I thought everything was fine but last night he was telling me that he can't trust me because he thinks i'm dating other guys. He said it's cause I did it before. But, that was before we were official. I would never cheat on him. I don't even look at other guys like that. I told him how I was sorry.

How do I gain his trust?

Alright so I was dating this guy for about 6 months and I really want to give him a present for valentines day. We broke up a couple weeks ago and we've still talked and are good friends. It was mutual and we still really like each other we just know that it would never lead to marriage so we called of our relationship.

I don't want anything romantic just something that would let him know that I care about him and wish him the best.

I was thinking I could give him the book the alchemist. But yeah i'm not sure what to do. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm a graphic design student and i really need to have my own mac so i can finish my homework. I was saving up for one but I had to buy a new engine for my car and there went all my money. So i was looking into buying a refurbished mac. do you think that it would still perform as well? I have two more years of school and just need something that I can depend on for that amount of time. If you think it would be alright where would you suggest buying from?

I just bought a 2003 hyundai elantra about two months ago. It's a automatic and has been getting great gas mileage. I had the oil changed about 2000 miles ago and today the low oil light came on. I purchased some oil and put it in. But, when I pulled my car out of the driveway about 30 minutes later there was a ton of oil on the ground! :( I don't know much about cars and I just moved so I don't really know anyone in my new town. What should I do? Do I need to get it checked? I don't want to get ripped off? Best and worst case scenario how much do you think it would cost? I'm a college student and money is tight so I don't really have very much extra cash.

I've been working really hard for over the last month to get my body in shape. Overall, I'm physically fit and healthy. The only thing that I just can't get toned are my abs. My legs, arms, and everything else are doing great! I'm really happy with them. It just seems like I gain any additional weight in my stomach. I've been doing a mixture of weight lifting and cardio at least five days a week and have cut back on my sugar in take. I'd think that after a month I'd see results but I haven't. I measured myself and figured that 3" would be what I needed to loose in order for my stomach to be flat.

Do you have any suggestions for what I should do to loose these extra inches? diet? exercises? I really don't care if I loose weight. I just want to get toned muscles.

I'm currently a student pursuing a degree in graphic design. I've made some announcements for people and haven't charged anything. But, I think my time is valuable and would like to charge a little bit. I mainly just want the experience and wouldn't be printing the announcements for them. But I could give them the connections to get cheap printing or they could print them themselves. So how much to you think I should charge to design their invitation. I can pretty much do what ever they want, folded, flat, photo, etc...

I'm a college student and i recently got accepted into scholarship housing. I don't have to pay for my housing but the room I'm in has dark wood panels on the walls and it's in the basement so it's a little dark and depressing. Since it's not my house I can't do anything permanent to the walls like painting, etc...but do any of you have any ideas of covering it or making it brighter. The only thing I could think of would be to stretch cloth over it but I didn't think that would look very good.

When I woke up this morning the left side of my face is completely swollen. My eye can hardly open. and really it's my entire side of my face not just around my mouth. Is this normal. Should I call the Oral Surgeon?

I rarely cry. If I do it's usually because I'm trying too. Sometimes like today I have good reason to cry and any normal person would be crying there eyes out. I can't cry. I can't really even express my emotion. I can say that i'm upset but that's about it. What is wrong with me? Some people say that I just haven't reached a breaking point that I need to have something really terrible happen but I have. I don't know what to do. How can I release my emotion. I think it would feel so much better if I could cry but I can't. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

My eye and all the surrounding skin areas hurts so much. It feels like I was punched in the eye but I wasn't. My eye isn't red or dry. I don't have glasses I'm sure if my eyes are just different prescriptions and it's just strained or if it's something else. It's been hurting for the last two days.

Do you know what might be wrong? Do you think I should go get it checked? The only problem is I don't really have the money to get it checked right now. Anyway, any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I am 19 years old. I'm in good health. I exercise frequently but I don't over exert myself. I eat a healthy diet. I'm the optimum body weight for my height, age, etc... As far as I can tell i'm doing great. I'm not depressed, stressed, or overwhelmed.

The only thing that has been stressing me lately is that my hair has been rapidly falling out for the past year. I don't know what could have caused this. I know stress can but I really haven't been stressed. I don't know if it could be a thyroid problem. My other thought was that maybe my neck might be out of line and creating some of my nerves to react differently.

I don't know if I should get this checked. Should I be worried about this? I mean, being bald could be sexy? :) ha ha No, but seriously I don't know what to do about this. I used to have really healthy long hair. Now my hair has thin patches that are becoming noticeable!

So there is a guy that was in one of my classes last semester and he really wants to hang out with me. He is always telling me that we need to hang out. I think he is really fun to be around and that he's funny but there is not romantic connection for me. I would love to hang out with him if he just wants to be friends. But I think he might like me more than that so I don't know if I should hang out with him or not.

I am trying to label some dinosaur parts on the body and skulls of several dinosaurs for my GEO 1020 class. I really have been trying label parts but my book does not cover everything. If you know of any websites I would be really grateful. I would have talked to my professor but, I've been really sick and unable to attend class.

I am labeling things such as the quadrated, antorbital fenestra, acetabulum, etc.... So it needs to be somewhat detailed.

I have heard that people will get paid to get their wisdom teeth out if they participate in a study. Do any of you know where you find these studies? If I wanted to get a little $$$ for my teeth being pulled.

It always seems like I never can get asked on dates by nice guys, gentleman, someone that will respect me. I always have guys whistling at me or the guys that I don't care about flirting with me. How can I make nice guys like me? Or do they and not say anything.

I honestly don't know why these other guys try hard because I never date them or flirt back because I am not interested. I'll be their friend but that is all.

Is there anything I can do?
